So I’ve had this reconnecting thing spinning.
I know there’s maintenance, but I was thinking the game would just close down.
However, now I’m wondering if any progress done during this time will even be saved.
Anyone know?

I need to know too… i play so much this night…
If I read correctly, this started 1.5 hours from this reply. So if we do get reverted, it’ll only be anything you gained from 01:30 CEST until the servers are back. Would be nice to get some more concrete info on this.
I cannot message people in game, but I can load between maps.
Edit: So I’ve come to the conclusion that Battle.net is down, but Diablo 4 servers are running as they’re meant to be. Therefore, if you are still in the game, progress should save, however you cannot use features which rely on Battle.net like communicating with other players, logging back into the game, this probably includes making purchases too. So don’t buy anything, because it might just evolve into a great mess. Nevertheless, I believe Diablo 4 servers are still recording progress and saving them.
I m in france. I play loke you. No problem but can’t use chat. I hope this will be fine and save before sleep… here is 03h07 am…
Is it emergency maintenance? I was so sure there was scheduled maintenance tomorrow until 1 PM.
According to my battle.net it said 01.00 CEST - 6.00 CEST.
It was planned, said it two days ago already and I don’t believe it’s related to Diablo, but battle net as a whole.
Correct.
That may impact logins and the shops. It should not impact game server progress. Two different things.
I would not play Hardcore though. The risk of DCs and such is higher during that type of Maint.
thank you lord, I was thinking of quitting playing if progress was not taken into account. you save my day, finally my big weekend! Thank you very much for this good news!
