Know why it sounds like a echo chamber here with all SB complaints? Cuz everyone who enjoys the class is having fun playing the game.
Every season has a broken class. This season is SB. So what if the class is more or less OP than prior Seasons meta ? Op is Op doesn’t matter how much OP period.
All the haters seems to be ones that doesn’t like the class and want to see it nerfed due to constant jealousy.
Look, if you don’t like SB , that’s fine. Don’t play it. But you are complaining on wrong stuff. You should be voicing to have whatever class you enjoy buffed , not asking SB get nerfed. Only reason i see ppl doing this is they jealous of ppl who loves SB is having fun and blasting.
To blizzard, you are doing fantastic job with SB. As a Monk main in D3, i and many other very much enjoy the current state of power the class brings, and dopamine hit of course. We love fast combat and power fantasy, we love hitting for billions of dmg.
Thank you for making such amazing class. But i agree you should buff other clases so the complainers can stop crying about SB out of jealousy
You don’t get it, the ENTIRE season, and many of the “end game activities” like the Undercity are tuned for the broken OP Spiritborn builds.
My sorceress is in paragon grind hell… stuck in T1 for lack of better gear/aspects she slogs thru pits and the Undercity for an hour to claim maybe… MAYBE 2 paragon. All the hope that when I unlock that 5th board I’ll be strong enough to face T2 in HC.
So now I’m running a Crushing Hand jungle monk that destroys mobs like he’s armed with a bazooka. And he’s got next to no 750 gear. He’ll be in T2 or T3 by this evening and pushing my paragon from 176 to 250 with ease.
I want to play my sorceress… but the game is actively punishing me for trying to do that… so, unless I want to spend another 2 weeks grinding paragon I’ll do the jungle monk for a few more days.
No i get it . That is why i said , ASK to buff your class. I support that. Ppl that constantly complain to nerf SB are the problem. That achieves nothing. Down to end , whatever class the complainer enjoys playing still fights like a slog
The only problem with everyone complaining about spiritborn is that it’s all bugs that blizzard is already aware of and will fix during a predefined window of time that blizzard has already setup with the community back in season 3
I agree with OP, now it’s just whining noise. The mods should just make an SB megathead and exile all the discussion there, then delete the rest. Right now every whining clown thinks his own tearful opinion is special and needs it’s own thread.
NEWSFLASH: No one cares. Either play the class you think is OP or Shut the **** up about it.
We’ve been screaming to the heavens to either buff us or nerf Spiritborn. Either would be acceptable, though the nerf would require them to rework end game content, so buffing us would be better. So what did Blizzard do? Buff Spiritborn… they’re now no longer capable of Quadrillion but 10’s of QUINTILLION damage. Way to do exactly the wrong thing, Blizzard.
D4 has an extreme mass-market appeal. It’s the oldest ARPG franchise, is extremely simplistic, and had untold millions of dollars poured into advertising. The obvious consequence of this is it attracts ARPG tourists by the boatload.
They straight up don’t understand the concept of not nerfing builds mid-season, unless there’s either something that allows them literal infinite health and/or damage, or is actively damaging the game service (see: Evade bug fix).
It’s the exact same reason why, over a year ago, so many people had their minds blown when, yes, a new league = a completely fresh start.
If this was a single player game like D3 I think no one would argue with that. This is not a single player game however. Unless you’re participating in literally 0 events, you’re ruining everyone else’s fun with the new class being in the state it currently is.
Maybe you don’t see it this way, but this is what’s happening. World bosses, legions, even the seasonal theme are ruined for everyone when the new class is around.
