Questions for players that prefer higher drop rates

Because 99% of the loot is garbage. There are two ways to do loot IMO.

  1. Be showered with drops. Most being garbage but with a chance at good stuff
  2. Be rare but always be good
D4 is doing a third option… be rare and mostly be junk

I don’t mind rare loot but if I farm for like a week and finally get a drop only for it to be junk then thats not fun. RNG is good. Too much RNG just to artificially pump up time metrics is not good.

That depends on the item. If its build enabling and I can’t find it fairly easily then thats garbage design. If its just something that makes your build a little better then thats fine.

When I say a little better I mean not like we have now where I go from being one shot to being invincible or going from 1m dps to 1b dps. Thats too much gap.

What I mean by build enabling… like LS sorc… if I cant find a fractured winterglass then thats terrible design.

Also this is 3 month season. People want to have fun. IMO having all the fun stuff being impossible to find is stupid. This works in an MMO because an MMO is persistent. Doesnt work so well in a 3 month wipe game. In a 3 month wipe game the only thing that should be rare is stuff like cosmetics or mounts. Stuff that you can use season after season. If that type of thing was rare af but highly sought after then that would be cool.

Depends on if the season is fun or not. If it is then definitely. I enjoy making alts and playing different classes/builds. I made 4 this season. The most ever so far. Probably because I found this season to be the most fun. Also depends on if there are more interesting builds that I would find fun playing.

I’m not quite sure what you mean by this.
