Probably a stupid question. But what are gems even for past the initial first few that you use to insert into sockets? Those gems are returned to you on salvage. Gems don’t sell for hardly anything either. I’m wondering if there is an endgame system that I’m not aware of.
Because to make an entire jewelry system based on the premise that I will need 10 gems that I get by level 40 is kinda debased.
Just added bonuses to gear just like in every other Diablo game
Yeah I got that. What about once you have those gems. There is no reason a gem should drop past level 40 with this short-lived system?
They go up in tiers what tier do you have now? They go to royal which just adds more of a bonus
Ah I see. I’m not at 60 yet so I don’t see the higher level of gems.
Loving the game, but there is no good reason why there isn’t a tooltip or blurb that explains that better gems become available later. I’m just using up my stash on gems that feel pointless.
