I accept and even enjoy “soft-grouping” by now, i.e. encountering other players during events in the shared world, such as world bosses, legion or seasonal events. I even drop an occasional emote then for politeness’ sake and am happy when others do the same
Apart from that, I solely play on my own, just because I like to play what I want to, when I want to and how I want to, even if it’s a wild and erratic mixture of, for example, some nightmare dungeons, followed by a handful of pit runs, half an hour of helltide and topped by a round of infernal hordes
I simply don’t enjoy coordinating anything with others when playing video games any more than absolutely necessary, even things as simple (or complex) as “what do we do next?”
