Purified essence portal gone after teleporting

FINALLY was able to get all of the purified essence items. I end up teleporting to Zarbinzet to dismantle some equipment for the boss fight. I go back to my portal GONE and the items are no longer in my inventory!

Has anyone else experienced this?

Could not enter Purified Essence portal

Returned each purified essence to it’s alter. After unlocking all four a red portal opened. However, I could not enter the alter. I tried moving around the alter in hopes i could enter from a different angle. No luck. The portal disappeared and the alters are all locked again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
