I get that it sucks waiting I understand why ppl are upset but ask yourself how many hours have you put into this game if it’s over 500 then that’s a pretty good deal

Wait, who thinks D4 is grindy? You can be level 100 and doing t100’s within a few hours to a day. This is about the least grindy ARPG there is lol. You don’t even need optimized or great gear to do this. T100’s feel like an absolute joke right now to run.
Unless you are talking about farming uber uniques, but they are not even needed, or interesting, so no real point to farm for them.
oh youd be suprised. quite many people here think that d4 doesnt carter enough towards the casualy because the grind, and the leveling is waaaaay too time consuming 
Most of us bought D4 because they promised to go back to the roots of the franchise, specifically mentioning D2 every single time, while D3 was mentioned like a couple of times and only for its “smooth combat”.
They backtracked on every single one of those promises and run straight back to their comfort zone, D3. They are done, and the game is done.

You know what I honestly think blizz are goin to spend the next year throwing new game systems at us to see what we REALLY! Want.
AoZ is proof of that if it doesn’t they take it out and reiterate and they’re ok being dragged through the mud to get game where it needs to be
So many people don’t have a slightest idea or vision to what the problem with this game is, and just come up with crazy stuff that have nothing to do with the game itself

Oh much more than 500. I have leveled 16 charcters to 100 and 4 of those are S1 or before.
I have LE necro summoner build to play. D4 gets maybe 4 hours a week from me now.
How you can say D4 is repetitive and in the same breath say/imply D2 is not is beyond words. There is far more to do in D4 should you chose to do it instead of concentrating on 1 or 2 things. D4 is adding content frequently along with a coming expansion. Some things need improvement in D4 no doubt but it is miles better already than D2 ever dreamed of being and I loved D2.

can only agree, d2, while great game back then, is basically the definition of repetiveness.
I think these posts or threads can only come up from People who see a game release, lets take LE, and suddenly are like, omg! best arpg! - then 2 weeks later, are back to d4.

Yep, or searching for over 3/4 of the game to find that last rune to make that fancy all resist shield. D2 was great for it’s time and quite awhile after, but I enjoy D4 now way more than D2. There is enough D2 in D4 to satisfy me, I wouldn’t want a clone.

god d2 is impossible to play without playing a trading simulator. no joke, i NEVER had a ber rune drop for me (god knows i invested way too much time into d2 probably ^^), and we know, its not even a super duper rare rune.
All i was really lucky on were tal rasha armors early into seasons ^^
Last time I played I literally went through the game twice in same armor and equipment. I might have found a better helm that was about it. I can’t remember what the last rune I needed was, but it wasn’t a particulary rare one, I just had crap luck. Shortly after that I was able to make another one but the roll’s sucked LOL.

Most ppl dont play vanilla D2 anymore, they play PD2.
LOD content isnt the endgame anymore, and hasnt been for awhile.
haha, on d2r i took the easy route and got into the annihilus game pretty early with dedicated discord groups, so yea, luckily was able to build a small fortune xD
just asking, i read a lot about it in the past and checked their site, is it worth it? i mean… the old d2 graphics for sure arent a winner if we are honest since we are used to new standards ^^
They improved the graphics slightly but are still old.
The core game has been changed quite a bit, but still remains familiar to the original.
I got sucked into WoW HC/Self Found for the last month, but at the time PD2 was/is running a crafting league where runewords & uniques dont exist.
If PD2 was allowed to run D2R’s graphics, it would have been an easy pass on D4. But I got bit by the Nostalgia bug, thinking D4 would be a successor to D2, and well, here we are. 
ETA: PD2’s end game for me is mapping & of course torches/anni. Baal runs are only done to get to level 80’s for mapping. You get way more exp+loot in maps than Baal runs since everyone is mapping now.
I usually do PD2 HC until I die, then go play other games HC.

hmmm, i might seriously check it out sometimes. i mean, we all have times where we “just dont know what to play”. this sounds like a good thing to get into for these times. thanks <3

If you’re talking to me, I play PD2 every season.
I currently mostly play WoW HC SF, but also play D4, LE & PD2.
My problem right now is not enough hours in the day.

people who dont like d2, are forgetting about something, d1 and 2 are the grandfathers of arpg, and the most successful arpgs right now got inspired from d2…say whatever you want, d2 was the right inspiration and not just in the “dark/grim atmosphere”
