PTR no account based progress

These are not carried over into the PTR.

I can only play the campaign.

do prologue, reach kyov and then the npc will allow you to skip

Move to the PTR forum if you want to know what is going on.

The PTR build is not linked to retail, and nothing from retail will carry over. There is detailed information available in the PTR forum and the blog.

So its not like WOW ptr where you can copy your characters over. Good to know

So this info from the PTR patch notes is just wrong?

" We will have servers for PTR in our largest regions: North America, Europe, Korea and Japan, South-East Asia, and Australia. Once you log-in through Battle Net, your account will carry over the following account-based progress:

  • Campaign Completion

  • Mounts and Skill Points

  • Fog of War

  • Altar of Lilith Stat bonuses"

Not sure why this feedback was not delivered in PTR forum. Would like them to hear your thoughts where they will read it.

D3 PTR can copy account over as well. D4 PTR just poorly implemented. 1 Week is not enough time to start a build all over again when we factor in builds with multiple UUs.

Yes, that information was inaccurate, and the blog has been updated to reflect the correct way to unlock progression on a PTR character.
