PSA - Eternal Lootpoclyse 3.0 Set For S11, Stat Range Changes In This Post

because this is an action - there is too much lag on the servers due to the caches (that’s why we don’t have more space), so that Blizzard doesn’t have to bother with fixing them, we will wipe the accounts of everything. P.S. In six months, the fun will start all over again/sarcasm

How hard were Passive amulets hit?
Like is a legacy double Passive amulet w/ triple crits on an important stat going to be miles better than anything you can get in the PTR?
(I’d test it myself… but it’d take me like 12 hours to install the PTR)

Not only is everything legacy again but we are back to 4 affix gears which originally got legacy many moons ago. Full circle back to 2023!!! I dont even…

Loot un-relegacy?

Loot un-reborn

Loot jason Mcbourne?

Pretty hard. First if you have main stat it drops to 3.3%.

Currently in PTR the way a legacy amulet from S10 is handled: a GA passive triple masterwork drops down to 2 ranks. Which is the same value as a non-GA with no masterworked bonuses.

To phrase another way, the range the affix can role is 1-2 ranks. Then regardless of blue/yellow/orange, the value of 2 ranks from the masterwork is still 2 ranks total.

Also when you use the Occultist to an enchant an item for a [1-2] ranks to passives affix, even when the UI shows it rolled 2, it actually shows 1 on the item.

So even non-eternal is super buggy.

Lol they did it again. Too funny.

They don’t need a solution for something they don’t see as a problem.

Unfortunately, this is correct .

Is 1,000 less armor a lot under the new system?
I might need hard focus on getting a triple crit Shako this season if the 54% CDR stayed unnerfed

I don’t know because I’m not sure what any of the defense numbers mean now when I look at the character stat sheet.

For Shako at least, it would seem 54% if it stays is the way it goes because CDR can’t be masterworked on gear elsewhere (only GA value max). And then also if you are lucky enough to have 2GA Armor and CDR shako you are only about 400 total armor worse off than a new shako.

Finally FWIW, I tried different combinations of pants armor to do a pit 75-85. I would randomly die. Then I tried an OG S0 GG defensive pants with armor%, DR Injured, DR Close, DR Distant and didn’t die or feel in danger to use a potion.

Blizzard and Microsoft saving money on server costs by nerfing items intentionally (for profits) , make players return to game , play, refarm, and thus ultimately, never having to improve their game feature to match competitors – stash inventory space, reasonably with game design, character slots etc.

Indeed, i bought the game and data to play on eternal only, i donmt care for seasonal mechanics, but i want the endless road for perfect items and now like 4th time in a row a dongrade, like what? NO!

This is nothing new to what they have done in the past; item IP used to be 850 then went up to IP=925 then back down to IP=800…some changes involved stat range changes, some not…4 affixes then down to 3 then back up to 4.

THIS is the normal…inconsistent changes IS WHAT IS CONSISTENT.

It is what it is…

Thanks for this, basically sparks and runes are king to save up on now. Obduct probably next from what i’ve heard. Gold a bit easier

My recommended Eternal Post Apocopylse (Again!) Survival Guide Assumign devs don’t fix/change the item conversions:

  1. Sparks, of course as you mentioned.
  2. One GA CDR triple masterworked shako
  3. Legendary gear that is 1GA. Roll off the GA into the non GA version of the stat. Masterwork target the tempers. This preserves the maximum range of the i800 affixes.
  4. Choas gear in weak slots like Pants or Boots that have passive skill ranks. Make sure the passive skill rank is non GA. e.g. Keep the Raiment pants or Hand of Naz boots.
  5. If you have them, dust off your S2 GG defenseive pants Armor %, DR Injured, DR Close, DR Distant. Imprint Disobedience.

I wonder if it’s worth using a legacy Tyrael’s Might for the 162% resist all on a triple crit to make up for the lack of defenses on your other legacy gear…
Like, will giving up a chest slot make up for having stuff like a 54% CDR Shako?

I think it’s obviously build dependent. For example I found using Iceheart Brias paired with Fist of Fate Gloves, new Frost Nova enchantment via the new unique max sufficient for defense at least through Pit 80. I do have a 54% DR Tyreal which maintians that stat, but dropping shroud was too much of a DPS loss.

Oh man so all our eternal items are just rekt? damn. So much for my 4 GA shako being maybe good.

Does anyone know what happens to the stats on legacy Fists of Fate?
