Ps5 character cosmetics not saving

After yesterday‘s update, this has still not been fixed. Character cosmetics when changed cannot be saved. This appears to affect only character cosmetics, as I am able to change my horse cosmetics, and my tombstone cosmetics, and get them to save. Neither changing the actual cosmetic, or the colors of the character cosmetics will save

~~ I was just about to post about this exact problem. But I’ll comment here instead, hopefully it’ll gain some traction. ~~

So not only am I having the exact same issue, but I had it happen to me right after purchasing the cosmetic bundle “Honor of Sacrifice.” Now I have been testing a bunch of different things to maybe help Blizz fix this asap. Or at least narrow it down.

  1. It is only happening to the toon that I just bought the cosmetic for. It is not happening to any other toon, not even another sorc. I tested this in both HC and SC, on both the PC and the Ps5.
  2. It is not console specific because of the aforementioned tests. I own a copy of D4 on both pc and Ps5, and both have the problem.
  3. It doesn’t matter how I exit the wardrobe, nothing changes. As soon as I press [ESC] or (O) or change the screen by then going to the tattoos instead of backing out right from the wardrobe, the problem persists.
  4. IDK if this is important…but I almost never “try on” the cosmetic sets right after purchase, when it prompts you to. But today I did. So there’s that.

I’m having this issue also. Necromancer cosmetics/transmogs do not save after confirming appearance. Wardrobe shows “appearance saved,” but character reverts to default after exiting menu or reloading. Occurs consistently on PS5. Is there a fix?

Same here. The pink “PH” placeholder has been showing in my wardrobe for the last 10 days. I thought Blizzard would eventually notice and fix it but apparently no. Or they just don’t care.
