just stumbled over it myself, and since sharing is caring, here we go
Run the regular Hoarfrost Demise dungeon. Its small, so you run trough it fast. I personally just run the first level of it. If theres no altar, leave dungeon and reset. Rinse and repeat. Of course you use the potion too.
Every run only takes a few seconds. =)

I was wondering if you could just spam cellars for them since someone mentioned in another thread they can spawn in any instanced content.
Not a bad tip and the one I did find (3 others I got from other ppl in trade chat) was in hoarfrost demise.
might be me who “assumed” it could spawn in cellars.
Iggi and i ran some cellars, and i still check them when i run across one. So far i didnt find an altar yet there tho. Eventually you want to also help and check a cellar real quick when you walk past one ^^
id say we are at 50ish cellars so far. But since the spawn rate is rather low, that doesnt mean anything
yea many are doing it. youll also see people outside the dungeon there. ideally you communicate with them so you can invite each other.
Can you still find altars when you have all secret powers? I need to farm more cash as I spent all my monies with some 4 GA gears.
hmm… good question, i would assume yes? i doubt their spawn is connected to your character.

Yah. I got them all already. 1 myself and 3 others watching trade chat. Sold mine for 300m and got others free. Im sure you could sell this for billions now. PPL are rich already and dont GAF.

well, the tier affects the chance yea. ideally you run it on t4. doesnt have to be nmd tho.
Yah higher difficulty tier is more of a chance. Only 4 are secret powers. Others are from purchase at vendors when u level coven board thingie.

4 secret altars are located in any dungeon, pit, roothold at random. Very low chance even on tier 4.
I tried resetting a cellar 20+ times for science but didn’t get one.
Guess I’ll go try the dungeon thing. I still need aura spec and nado even though I’m almost done with the season journey and paragon 215.
Need a break from grim favor areas after finishing the rep grind anyway.
understandable lol. i try to mix my activities up a little so i dont get bored ^^
also, k that makes it 70 ish with you me and iggi. would say thats close to being factual then that they dont spawn there
