Mine must have updated while I was taking care of other things around the house. I had left Bnet launcher open, so… 
. Monitor had went to sleep, so didn’t notice if it did.

Chores. That reminds me that I really should get a pot roast or stew going before Season start! I wanted to make that today. Beef, mushrooms, onions, garlic, carrots, taters, etc. House should smell amazing all day!

FFS im so tired of consollers ruining every single game these days. Downgrade on graphics, UI is nonsensical on many games, much more wait time for patches etc.

The patch thing is actually a plus for consoles, yeah it takes longer, but they are QA’d to not break the game. As for graphics, it may be technically true, but most PC players aren’t running on max everything, even those with top end cards, because they care more about FPS than everything else.
EDIT: Also, the whole PC gamers bashing consoles is so sad and played out, seriously.
And yes, I’m on PC.

Change the download speed option to 999999999 kb/s if you use pc bnet.

You should not have to restart, but I would wait on char creation until it ticks over to 10:01 pacific. That way you don’t risk the char not being made after patch is active.
