Poison Trap Not Recognized As Core Skill

Bit of an elusive title, but Poison Trap is both recognized and not recognized as a core skill it seems. It benefits from Core Skill Ranks/Damage, however, it doesn’t get recognized by things like Beastfall Boots and Banished Lord’s Talisman. Spent a good hour trying to re-create the conditions to proc them with it, it never consumes resource and it never overpowers. Fix this PLEASE.

DoT can’t Overpower.

I figured, regardless it doesn’t get a damage boost from Beastfall’s. As well, with Inner Sight if you use the PT outside of it’s duration it doesn’t reset the cooldown. Meaning without PT CDR you can’t use it with Inner Sight cause the “No Cooldown” on the Ich Rose gloves doesn’t do anything for it.

Are you using Death Trap as the ultimate to trigger Beastfall?

Death Trap, but I’m also experimenting with Druid’s Petrify via Runes

Death Trap is a Core itself with Scoundrel’s Leathers and consumes Beastfall effect.

I don’t see ANY Overpower happening. It would be the follow up skill that gets the affect anyhow I thought.

The popular Overpower Death Trap build works because Death Trap both triggers and consumes Beastfall buff itself.

Poison Trap is sometimes included in the build for pushing high pits. If Poison Trap would consume Beastfall buff (cast between Death Traps) instead of Death Trap itself, no one would use Poison Trap.

Edit: I just tested using Shadow Clone as the Ultimate, and Poison Trap can consume Beastfall buff if cast after Shadow Clone.

Sooooo…the double proc bug on Beastfalls is still a thing? Because that’s what saved the Rain of Arrows Preparation setup was the fact that it double proc’d the Preparation 5s cd allowing you to spam it in Season 7. Bug = Feature, but the new item centralized around PT gets voided for the most part…cool.

Edit: In which case, I’m still bewildered why I don’t see any Overpower #'s at all

Edit2: Also, I thought that the Aspect of Contamination made it to where the burst would OP…idk anymore
