If Diablo did that it might as well just be another arpg. This is what makes Diablo a Diablo game. No one is forcing you to make another seasonal character. You can continue your character on Eternal to your hearts desire.
Seasonal model works and is great but more content does need to come to eternal for sure. Fairly boring mode right now.
Well I guess I kinda understand his position, events/seasons that revolve around making a new avatar is a way for the devs to force you to make an alt and spend time and recourses in the game. Its clever yet sneaky way to get you to play the same content all over again, for vanity rewards. Doesnt mean we havent made tons of alts in all of our games to accommodate that. It gives players something to do and grind in the pits so they dont burn through the content in a week and leave, bored.

Sure thing bud. Lotās of people play eternal poe and eternal D3 was a hotbed of activity.
Ohā¦ wait. No.
Of course not all people like it. I didnāt say they did.
But enough people like it that it is financially successful. D3 didnāt start with seasons. PoE didnāt start with seasons. They evolved into them, because their early experiments were wildly succesful.
Again; because people like them. Not all people, but so many that the model is more financially rewarding.
Iām not saying youāre wrong for wanting to use your max level character in seasons, or that youāre alone. Iām saying youāre on the losing side, and the game isnāt going to change because you pretend up is down. Seasonal resets are demonstrably more successful than otherwise.
Diablo IV leveling is not post Diablo III ROS leveling where you can be level 70 in less than 8 hours. Get real. Even then, players of Diablo III asked for the faster levelling experience that came from Season 2. It was purposefully made that way, when before then, Blizzard was going to have you grind for everything through resets every season. Hardcore specifically would have greatly benefited from this. Again that was all changed from the start of Season 1.
I mean, do whatever you want with D4 at this point 
It will be fun seeing constant 100 000 000 000 damage numbers in season 10 and level 1-100 in 2 hours.
I am glad there are other true ARPGs out there.
If they are trying to make D4 an āmmoā then sure get rid of seasons, if notā¦ keep them. I feel the game needs drastic ācoreā level of changesā¦ not sure what the vision of the devs are with this game

Well World of Warcraft does it well, there is no hard reset more like soft reset every 2 years when new expansion comes in.
When seasons arenāt a thing that you like eather play eternal realm or other games.
Seasons belong to Diablo since D2 and most players are enjoying them.
Asking for video games to respect time means that players donāt wanna do boring, grindy tasks, such as unlocking lilith altars or grinding renown. It means they wanna log in and have fun, not log in and do chores.
I donāt mind resetting for seasons. I just wish the rewards for playing it were more rewarding. Who gives a real rip about titles and cosmetics? Give stash tabs, pets, wings, etcā¦something usable.
Iām sorry the only cool things to show off in this game will be purchased from the shop.

seasons are great , just play another game.
lol seasons are boring. useless. and every 3 months its like your caught in a shower in the rinse, lather, repeat cycle. devs dont care they will continue to do what they please while ignoring the community. i could care less if microsoft pulls the plug on the whole department, 20 years of blatant disregard.
Thatās the problem with WoW. Games are supposed to develop content toward the Classes. They develop content then screw the Classes over sometimes completely remaking the class. It gets tiresome.
Seasons are good but without leaderboards/armory are really a waste of time. Your best efforts are never recorded and the likelihood of you using that gear in eternal is close to 0 as the season gear will always be better.
Unless the eternal realm also had leaderboards then you would have a reason to gear up and push that charactor.
The other issue as D3 players will know is that you will end up having to delete chars to make space for new ones in future seasons, so any time you spent on that char was also a waste because no armory or leaderboard to record that time spend and what was achieved on that char.
This is why you shouldnāt burn yourself out on the game at this stage , 99.9% of you are not content creators that have a reason to push because they need to get views.
Have fun and play casually for nowā¦
I would never cater my builds or my games for anyone except me. I would never let my audience dicatate my experience just to increase viewership
OMG this game is not like the kids games i played it needs changed now!!!. Diablo4 needs a lot getting rid of seasons would be one of the few that would make it worse than it already is.
Nope seasons are here to stay play eternal if you donāt like it.
Seasons were not made for you.
