Please, remove guaranteed 925 item level drops (weapons) from T4 world bosses

That’s literally what I said. It just hasn’t worked the way they said it would. I text em every day about only this problem, but clearly they don’t care.

Yup, I know I’ve seen your posts and totally agree. I can’t believe they haven’t fixed it. Maybe it’s just not that easy to change a couple numbers in the code.

Like holy cow man?

It’s actually insane like… They have a couple options:

1.) Fix the game to match up with the patch notes
2.) Fix the patch notes to match up with the game
3.) Nothing

You know what they’re going with here.

No, they don’t. I like brussle sprouts especially with some butter, roasted almonds, and bacon pieces.

I agree, the gear should be better from NM 60 to 90 for sure. They will tweak that though. They just gotta bind the right ilvls to monsters/key level and we are all good.

Hopefully MS will continue this and make it a trend.

This sounds like “I got my 925 best stats weapon, please remove this so others don’t get theirs”.
Got ya.

No thanks. It should stay as is.

Have a guess where my 925 weapons dropped. It certainly wasn’t the world boss, and it most definitely wasn’t from Uber.

Regular, everyday, demon smashing in dungeons and overland. The 925s from the boss were sent to the salvage in the sky.

I’m, going to actually have to try this. How did you prep the sprouts? Par boil? Steamed? Pan?

weapon dps scaling purely from item power is boring imo.

How about some local attack speed mod with a roll range, local +xxx to +xxx damage with roll range, so that finding a good weapon is both rare and super exciting.

right now weapon dps = armor on every other slot that scales with item power which turns a weapon into any other item slot, that has 4 of the million different additiv damage stats.

Just did a World Boss. Got one 925 item I couldn’t use. The rest were lower level so your theory just doesn’t work.

But it’s not… I’ve never dropped twice the exact same piece of gear (in term of stats).
You still have waaaaayyyy more chances to drop a better piece of armor/jewelry that’s not 925 due to the sheer amount of non 925 rare dropping.

It’s not that hard to get: during a gameplay if you get 200 pieces of gear 830-900 and 10 pieces 925, guess which pool one is more likely to be an upgrade for you?

If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, did it fall?

Such is loot, if one doesnt bother looking or going after other sources of gear because they would rather not bother until a 925 comes up 3/4. Then it doesnt matter what the probabilities are.

Human nature.

Will you spend your perfect umbrals on a not so perfect ring?

There are a lot of factors where a minor upgrade/sidegrade isnt worth rolling or keeping for a perfect aspect.

Sometimes the final leap in the players mind is 925.

I think this rings true more than people want to believe.

If I have more than one perfect aspect, then yes.

I’m lvl 100 and rocking Duriel, just did NM 100 for the achievement with just 1 death because of those goddam random vampire spawns, and I litterally have no piece of armor jewelry at 925, only my weapons. My pants are like 813 or something.

I think you’re projecting your fixation on having only 925 gear to everyone here buddy. But from what I’ve seen inspecting people regularly, nobody does.

Shrug, believe what you want but people do chase 925 just like they chase uber inques or unique mobs pre patch in open world for elusive 840s.

Happy to agree to disagree on it.

Have a good night.

You’re saying two different things:

  • People chase 925 items: I agree with
  • People only chase 925 items: I disagree with

Cut an x in the bottom of the sprout and boil em. Drain, add butter, bacon pieces, and the roasted almonds (I like slivers but you can use whole, crushed, whatever). Then you are good to go.

You can steam them too if you wish. I recently purchased a new pasta cooker and vegetable steamer I need to try them in.

I never said all people. But some people do. I know im not only one in this thread that sees the issues with the design relative to other loot options. World bosses / all 5 of the unique / uber tend to drop this gear in varying amounts whereas nms which are broken dont. So theres a preference to farm and ignore other areas.

This is relative to time and where people are at for gearing and what piece it is. So in this thread most everyone acknowledges that weapons are the easiest and most impactful from the get go. Goint to wt4 and htting world bosses a few times will net a usable and significant upgrade with immediate effect if you leach at level 60.

If you are at the end or near end of your graring cycle, which i am at, i am looking for 925 gear. My gear is almost all over 900 with appropriate affixes. So i am naturally at this point for gearing. I dont bother with nms or helltides for gearing.

You are not doing the new bosses if you’re only in eternal mode. They drop 925 items. You are really making a mountain out of a mole hill here. Give it up already. It’s literally NOT an issue.

I mentioned it above. The issue is that NM’s at least should be fixed to be relevant for gear farming.

The way it’s designed, the end game loop now excludes NM’s.

helltides for steel
World boss for 925 gear + legions (whispers farming)
Uber bosses

Once you are done with glyphs, NM’s are trivialized.

just read this:

I don’t think it’s a “mountain” per se.

Second World Boss today - Second 3 item drop from it. Seems slim as I generally get 4-5.
Sigh. 1 Yellow, 1 Blue, 1 Leggo
Was upset it broke my trend of 2 Blues. Ah well.

Dunno what the fuss is tbh. Sure they’re 925 - but there’s no guarantee they’re any different/better than all the other insta salvage out there.
Never thought I’d say this, but it’s almost like we get too much loot.
But it’s the nature of the design - Affix Bloat → Quantity of Loot over Quality → needle in the haystack of salvage hunting vs “Loot Farming” & grinding.

While itemization is what it is - Keep the WB dropping what they drop.
The only way we get serviceable items is through quantity presently.

Please bring back the down arrow, that’s all I am saying.
