Finally playing the Blood Wave Necro this season because it is OP, and I can’t progress past Pit 140 because every 2-4 casts of Blood Wave, the mobs just bounce around. It feels like they are getting stuck in some kind of animation loop on the previous Blood Wave, and aren’t taking any damage on the next one.
With Blood Wave CD being what it can be now, I’m able to cast it as soon as the last set end, but it doesn’t make a difference when the mobs don’t take any damage.
Next attempt is MARCH joke patch notes but I am so untuned to the game it might suck. Playing Spellforce Eo and its so much more fun. Going to play necromancer with double death schools next as I just won with artificer earth and dream.
you probably dont collect enough blood orbs to have Rathmas (keypassive) at 15 stacks. That way the Bloodwave doesnt overpower, and its doing practically no damage.
Thats not a bug, but working as intended.
This pretty much indicates it. You tend to care less about blood orbs with a solid CDR, as they arent needed for the CD anymore. They are still important for the Rathma stacks tho.

I agree that Blizzard should fix asap any broken build but unfortunately it´s not how the general game manager thinks.
Yup. I have to remind myself to cast Blood Wave first thing at the entrance of a high pit with no mobs around - just to produce orbs, collect them, and get rolling.
