I’m level 95 and have completed up to T60 with a group. I run a Blizzard/Ice Shard build with all the defensive abilities. Brief complaint about the class below:
It’s completely ridiculous. A glass cannon without a strong cannon, and made of the most brittle glass possible. Only one or two viable end-game builds that still can’t perform nearly as well as any other classes meta builds in high tier nightmare dungeons. Only one unique that is truly useful.

Ice Shards doesn’t even work in melee. It just shoots past the target without doing damage. I have to run away from blood blisters 3/4 of the time because it just won’t register damage on the target. Our AoE abilities are also worthless beyond the CC effect. Blizzard does very little damage even at 9/5, it’s really only helpful for freezing enemies.

Literally no defense at all. Get one shot by white mobs in any tier past 50 that literally every other class can tank. My favorite is Wraiths and the Skeleton Bows that one-shot snipe from off screen. Resistances just don’t work at all, which is nice. Any combination of being able to benefit from Fortify Armor, a massive buff to Barrier (they’re horrible right now), and resistances actually working would help our survival tremendously - this is BY FAR the biggest issue with sorcerer right now in my opinion.

Can’t tank mechanics that literally every other class can tank. Get hit by a drifting shade? Instant death. Meanwhile, it might take half of my Barbarian friend’s health if he gets hit.
It’s just pathetic. I understand that high end nightmare dungeons are supposed to be difficult, and really it seems that the highest tiers are there as a placeholder for future power creep - but still, it’s unplayable in anything past 50-55 solo play. I would be surprised if 10% of the population chooses Sorcerer for season one as it stands right now.
