Barb is the easiest class right now of the 4 I’ve played. No necro yet. Just throw on a 2h sword and bleed skills. Easy mode. You can practically afk on a barb.
I tought the same , even asked some low leveles why are they even there. I was like i shud afk and watch the boss flee after 15 min , but i didint and im glad coz we have done it with 9 ppl 2 of us were 25 one 23 one 21 two 16 one 11 and two 9. We done it in around 12min. I even resurrected them like 15 times. So i think the world boss scales aswell, atleast for the beta. Prolly they saw all the whining on the forums and they madr some tweaks.
Dang, killed one in 4 minutes plus the opening time waster, killed next in 5 more minutes from 80%, then tried finding a third for 5 minutes and no luck.
Only managed to kill 9 Ashava today. Disappointed.
thanks to your suggestion I killed him twice on this last go. I started on a bad group, we only did the first health checkmark in five mins so I left it. Relogged and got a better group, they were at 20% by 8 min mark. Finished it. Tried a couple more times with a different character but no spawn (I guess you can only do it if you were there when it spawns). Went back to first character and got a 3rd group, for my 2nd kill (remember I fled the first one). With 3 mins left, I tried finding another group but I kept getting a clean area.
Still, at least the second kill made up for missing it earlier tonight.
I beat the boss twice with 4 level 25’s including myself, and a bunch of lower level people running around dying. it’s not like the boss gets harder based on the number of people.
First time, we beat him with 5 minutes left, the second time with 7-8 minutes left.
My core group I brought had 2 lvl 25 geared necros
A fresh lvl 25 sorc with hand me down rogue gear
A lvl 24 necro in yellows
Also in the feild was 3 lvl 25s
Two lvl 14 players
And some random lvl 17 player.
Only 9 players in the feild
We killed the boss in 4 mins…
Enough time for my group to find another instance and kill the boss again…
My build is the 2 button bone spear build
I have 831 attack power and crit for 5k
So as long as the main group is good it can carry a bunch of low levels… i think I used 1 potion in that fight…
Swinging that big D, but can you swing it nonstop 
Hah, good stuff. my AP is 750, but I can fire prettymuch forever and dont have to move either
I want to find more people who play well and actually invest in upgrading their characters to run with for future betas if any or live.

I made an afk necro build, I went afk at the lvl 35 elite. My minons and golems kept me alive… went and got lunch and did some chores. Came back with a bunch of 400 item lvl rares and a 432 leg ring… collected loot… resummoned 1 skelly war that somehow died… went afk for 2 hours watched some master chef… collected loot. Turned the good 400+ item level legendarys
Is how I was able to pump the attack power high.
Trying to hit 1k before betas end. But gold is my bottle neck.

This might be even harder to hear. But level 25 doesn’t mean crap on which class will be op or not.
it’s not about streamers. it’s personal experience slugging with a barbarian and druid vs wrecking with sorc, rogue, necro.
Doesn’t really matter outside Beta. One would think we all are on World tier 3 when we even think about going for a world boss and at that point people are much closer in skill and level as low levels won’t get to tier 3 before completing tier 2.
it does matter. if they don’t change the balance, I sure as hell won’t be playing Barb / Druid on release.
my brother was playing a 25 sorc. he got hit by the sweep every time. spent most of the encounter dead. i stayed close to the boss. i think i went under half health once the entire fight. not a single death. werewolf druid
my point is melee will have an easier time avoiding the stuff that will kill you if you know the moves. other than that it’s probably fine at 23 but not ideal. knowing the attacks is worth more because that’s what will end you no matter the level
Lol, had someone like you complaining about this at my most recent kill. He was mad because a level 17 sorc was there, kept asking him to leave. I told him to stay. Dude gets mad around like 60% on the boss says we’re not killing it I’m out gg noobs. Right after he left the boss started to melt and died like 2 minutes later maybe not even? And he was a level 25

your brother is bad at games. Sorceress can stand in melee as much as druid can. In fact, it’s easier because teleport.
Well a Sorc could just outrange the sweep if they know what they were doing. Or just pop an Ice Barrier and ignore it. But yes staying under the boss is the right move on this boss, even as ranged. It’s much much easier when you only have to care about 1 mechanic possibly killing you and as a Sorc not even that.
of course he can. he has never done the fight and tried to stay ranged. doesn’t know the encounter.

Can’t face tank everything ashava has to throw at you though. I don’t even try to dodge stuff on my Druid, can’t kill me. I save my evade for when she leaps away
so, it scales off how many are there?
Also, I don’t insult people in there. If they want to do it, fine. But I don’t want to carry dead weight.
In the attempt I described, I know I easily did most of the dmg. The boss’ HP wouldn’t move much if I wasn’t attacking.
Ehm. You can… Just be a Sorc with good gear.
