People need to stop whining, specially about the end game

I have no idea they had a new game. You may be absolutely right. I bet if we looked we would find some crazy comments to laugh about though.

Dunno, your comment just made made me recall some videos I’ve seen about it. The guy dressed as the dog smoking a cigarette and taking a leak, while he waits for the hunt to begin. The game took on a horror vibe too.

Blackmind D2 512 Uniques/Set items D4… 39 thats the big problem fundamentally

Thats funny, calling me a hater because I have a opinion about the game I love since my childhood and playing every version on release :joy: . It is great that you don’t care about ppl leaving the game, some of us do tho.

What is the point of having millions of copys sold just to have some thousend players left 2 years from now and the rest leaving for other arpgs again? You want another d3 storyline? I guess from a business view this is cool but from a player view who loves the game… really?

What is the point of playing a arpg and having no item hunt? I remember my last d3 season, couple hours into the game full set and got everything I needed. Same thing in d4, just -couple of hours and + couple of days. Seriously is this the point of a arpg for you or what made the genre fun in the first place?

What is the point of finding a great unique in d4 that is not for your build if there is no trade economy and you can’t even give it to a friend who would need it? You having fun going to the blacksmith and salvaging it?

I am not a hater, I want the game to succeed, not just commercially (there is no debate here) also long term for players to enjoy. If you take off your fanboy glasses or get out of your honeymoon phase sooner or later you will see there is alot to do if you want the latter.

Sorry for having higher expectations for a 70 or 80 bucks arpg in 2023 that is called Diablo then 1-2 weeks of fun and having nothing more left to do.

But you do you, happy you enjoying the game so far, mb lets talk again in a couple weeks/months once you reached the same state.

this game isnt supposed to be a single player story game, where you beat it and then are done. this should have content to keep players playing forever. it is a live service game with battle pass.

People expect a complete product on release that has a premium price point. Making excuses for Blizz and dismissing criticism is the exact passive consumer response Activision wants to profit on, at the cost of the consumer.

No game has ever been released with enough content to keep people satisfied. Fact. People always blow through it on release and then complain. This happens with every single live service game. Its really pretty amazing that people are too simple to realize this.

They had 10 years and 3 diablo titles to go off of. I expect the game to have a way more polished end game. I don’t care about other live service games.

You and everyone else that says" you need to stop whining" need to really consider that this kind of behavior from a BIG developer should not go unnoticed. I personally think that the game was amazing when it came out. I played in both betas and server slam, that’s why I pre-ordered it. Furthermore, I am not denying that blizzard did amazing in terms of the story and theme of the game. But y’all need to recognize the choices they are making does not align with the stuff they have said in their videos. can the game be perfect? I dont think ANYTHING can be perfect and satisfy everyone, thats a tall order. But right now, the end game AINT fun.

Let me tell you a secret …

Since lvl 3 your left and right click skills won’t change until 100 lvl
From 12 lvl and until your getting 1 ultimate …you won’t change your action bar …

All of that unless your going to change your build …but won;t happen since until now there is like 1 build for every class…

All the gear that your gonna get from like the start has same stats and your looking just for the extra 0.5 crit etc…

At the end …
Your going to kill millions of npcs just to wonder … I’m a bot or a living person ??

People need to stop whining about people voicing legitimate and valid criticism of what is easily the most shallow endgame of any modern ARPG.

Completely irrelevant. No live service game has ever been released with enough content to keep people satisfied. You might want to ask yourself why that is. Expecting something different is irrational.

This is not correct. Most games throughout gaming history shipped complete. 40+ hours with a satisfying conclusion. You’ve been conditioned by the modern gaming industry over the years to be okay with games releasing unfinished and letting them finsh the base game for the first 6+ months of release. Many of us have been around long enough to know that.

Oh and to sell addons and such that were just left out so they could keep nickle and diming you. You used to earn cosmetics and costumes by completing ingame challenges instead of buying them in a mobile store with fake currency.

but are they really gonna give us an end game at some point? or just tell us to start over and grind renown and lilith altars again?

Yeah cos re-grinding renown is what I wanna do in a season.

Who love does mind -numbing reown quests again? Go kill X enemies, collect X items, escort npc, deliver items

This doesnt make sense. If 40 hours is your metric then D4 has that completely beat. The game is complete, if you dont like the conclusion that is subjective. Some people just get bored with the content. Every live service game has an endgame where you repeat the same b.s. over and over. Again, this is obvious to understand but it seems like people are to simple to grasp it.

Im 64 lvl and 2 days now i didn’t even log-in …

I’m doing same aoe since lvl 3 …this ridiculous.

Pick up any game …Grim Dawn … Torchight ,PoE …just anything and you see how interesting the gameplay and FUN is …
Pick up Diablo …how to die due over boredom …

no time. the complaints are all justified because they want to reset all progress every 3 months. if a 2 week hardcore grind with time taken off work can’t get into meaningful endgame progress, then seasons are doomed. (4-6 weeks for people going at a reasonable pace).

Keep on being a Blizzard apologist for not releasing a finished product LOL
