Latest update – it looks like it will be about upwards of two hours until we launch Vessel of Hatred. Additionally Battle.net players will need an additional sizable update before playing. Nope 3 hrs, still waiting on the soon shortly update.
Its less work for them to work on the ones before their main servers they dont care about pc or consoles only the third party apps

Well its been 2 hours since the last update. Been keeping tabs on it.
So does this mean that instead of sitting here waiting for it to go live we get to sit around and wait for the update to download and install then wait in queue for who knows how long?

They have not enabled the logins yet. They want to give as many players as they can time to download the patch before enabling the game.

oh ya, it takes like 3 mins for it to start again. I’ll lose like 300k of d/l potential on the 32 GB.
This really seems more a case that the expansion was 32GB, but bliz didn’t want to advertise that or tie up their servers with that kind of preload. so released a preload of what… 1 gig or less, then manufactured an emergency maintenance and poof 32GB needs to be d/l.
I never saw a 32GB preload d/l did anyone else?
It isn’t 32GB.
But its a 32GB patch, unless you didn’t pre-download.
I had to download 12.5GB…
I did complete the preload while we were conversing here and elsewhere.
I am now D/L 37.64 GB @ currently 19-20MB/s on a 500MB/s cnx
