New dev team every year.
Probably because that one had a awful stash management, but at least had 1 tab per character and infinite accounts per CDkey.
People hate d3 maybe not you but majority of d2 playes hated d3. It was so bad the fired its Director. If I knew this as a dev id stay away from d3 as well.

Apparently the D3 Blizz North was working on was bad enough to lose that whole studio. Pretty sad actually, they made great content.
Half of them worked at D3. From producers to system engineers. Starting with the game director himself.
They fail forward like any other company.
D3 at launch was certainly a completely different experience from what it eventually transformed into, and what it is now. But for me at least, gameplay and QoL/UI are kinda two distinct things. Whether D3 is enjoyable to someone or not, something like QoL isnât really going to tied into that. Sure, D4 could be designed differently from D3 in terms of gameplay, but why is something like the enchanter so much worse here than it was in D3? We canât even see the list of potential options when enchanting, nor their ranges before actually selecting one to know whether a given option was even a good roll. Thatâs something that mystifies me as to why it wasnât just carried forward from D3 and instead feels like a step backwards.

I see them going with POE like crafting but simpler. POE crafting has 15 different mini crafts you do before. It takes a while to learn and turns most people off. I think that was the fear.
again guy with diablo 2 lod you have 0 restriction with account creation mean infinite tab space , d2re have 3 share tab and every character 1 tab for a account of 25 character mean 28 tab , vs diablo 4 only 4 , the same painful crap of d3
you call this a loot game but have no tab 
i dont know how many copie d4 sell to 100$ and player can not have stash tab

you have pvp gear and low pvp gear
you have farming gear and gear for other build
you have low level and mid level level up gear
you have crating gear
4 tab for 10 character 
and i dont talk about the season
nothing to get better there just a clueless comment
