Which ones: Shadow, Cold or Bone?
Undefined and Mixed (which is one of the root problems), but Iād say more leaning towards slow and methodical
Thatās because there were 2 teams creating the original game, one team that wanted to create a slow, gory, methodical ādungeon dwellerā game. And another that took over not so long before gameās release that decided to āspeed things upā a bit and in that process also sped-up the game itself
The reason for speeding up that process at that particular point in time is not really relevant to current discussion/s
The question is what do you think works better for D4 ?
My assumption (as in the dev camp lately I hope) is that they realized they better keep the game inside where itās created/designed to be played (i.e. overworld and dungeons) and not in some newly made-up āriftsā
And therefore the conclusion/assumption being slower will fit better for the game (at least in near future until things get balanced out and functional)
And speaking of rifts, Iād say arguably we already have them in the form of Pit (which as we all know needs fixing still :P)
Itās not as bad as some are making out. Iām looking forward to the challenge of weening myself away from Death Trap Rogue and try some other Rogue build. Iām glad they fixed the Overpower situation as it was getting a bit too predictable.
I just wish more effort is put into avoiding āthe worst classā.
Feels like a logical take. Im okay with slower and needing to use your brain more.
