Patch notes look good sorta

Which ones: Shadow, Cold or Bone?

Undefined and Mixed (which is one of the root problems), but I’d say more leaning towards slow and methodical

That’s because there were 2 teams creating the original game, one team that wanted to create a slow, gory, methodical ā€œdungeon dwellerā€ game. And another that took over not so long before game’s release that decided to ā€œspeed things upā€ a bit and in that process also sped-up the game itself

The reason for speeding up that process at that particular point in time is not really relevant to current discussion/s

The question is what do you think works better for D4 ?

My assumption (as in the dev camp lately I hope) is that they realized they better keep the game inside where it’s created/designed to be played (i.e. overworld and dungeons) and not in some newly made-up ā€œriftsā€

And therefore the conclusion/assumption being slower will fit better for the game (at least in near future until things get balanced out and functional)

And speaking of rifts, I’d say arguably we already have them in the form of Pit (which as we all know needs fixing still :P)

It’s not as bad as some are making out. I’m looking forward to the challenge of weening myself away from Death Trap Rogue and try some other Rogue build. I’m glad they fixed the Overpower situation as it was getting a bit too predictable.

I just wish more effort is put into avoiding ā€œthe worst classā€.

Feels like a logical take. Im okay with slower and needing to use your brain more.
