My take on this announcement is that theyāve taken responsibility for that oversight and fixed it. Not sure yet there is more to read into this.
Further indication perhaps that threads for a week that have had comment in the topic areas are no longer with us ā¦ except one.
Feels like things have been dealt with for now and we have a line in the sand with consecutive events. Now itās patch notes and ptr announcement shift, moving forward.

Been running an exclusively shadow damage Flurry build on my Rogue and having I would say pretty decent success? Really need Starless Skies so I can make the jump to T4 ><
Also kinda hate that Shadow Imbuement doesnāt just do its damage right away @.@
2.5 x 20 is 50. Thatās not including the initial base value at rank 1.
If we were take the current witchcraft power, grow should max out at 76% if just the damage per rank was modified.

It starts out at 25%, not 0%.
1.5% * 20 = .015 * 20 = .3
2.5 * 20 = 50
And people complain about Blizzard not being able to do math.

50 + 25 = 75 (new)
1 x 20 = 20
20 + 25 = 45 (old)

The entire platform is subject to the rating. They could take other approaches to mitigate access, but you might like those even less.
Youāre welcome to your opinion of course on how governments should care for children in their jurisdictions. Feel free to exercise your democracy where it has an impact
