Still waiting to see “Block chance now capped at 100%” so we can all go play something else.

No wonder there were people saying “what rawhides problem. Learn to play the game.”

Obducite in Nightmare Dungeons.

This is supposed to be this way LOL. literately tells you this in game but NOOOOOO only in hordes lol

This is not a bug. Just as you can have 36 resolve and with the power of the legendary node cause x72% increase, while other classes have a ceiling of 30%, 40%. No explanation.

    LOL

It definitely seems unintended IMO. There’s no reason to have more than 100% block chance. At 100%, you block every incoming attack. Having 200%, 400% or 800% block chance is pointless. Currently it only serves to scale Interdiction and Redirected Force to the moon.

It’s like critical strike chance. Once you’re at 100%, you crit every time. There would be no point to going beyond that.

And yet, why did the devs create monsters with quintillions of health points if there’s no way to kill them without it?

People asserting the former need also to offer an explanation for the latter.

And “I’m not bottlenecked by obductite” while conveniently leaving out that they farmed hundreds of thousands from bugged IH chests.

I totally agree. Recently made a post stating exactly that. The explanation seems to be that they want Pit 125+ to be totally impossible for all classes.

I don’t see an issue here. I see only features.

Except that explanation makes no sense, in that why would a game designer design any part of a game that no one would play?

An explanation that is at least plausible is that the game designers could not possibly anticipate all the synergies that will be discovered once hundreds of people start testing different combinations, hence they created this pinnacle content just in case. In S5, their bet paid off in that the highest pit tier accomplishment was around 179 (I think). In S6, their estimates were way off.

I’ve said it before and now again, had SB been part of the PTR none of this extreme overpower craziness would be a problem.

it actually does. we often enough had times were people managed to do the most difficult content, and complained they are bored now. Personally, i think its not bad to have content that scales to basically infinite difficulties. Not for loot of course, but just to test the boundaries of your build.

They even said they use high pit levels to see what is too OP and needs nerfed. They just wont do it till the next season.

actually would be fun to see where spiritborns could end up if the pit wasnt capped at 150
xD

scaling becomes crazy on those tiers, but id assume they could get to 160?

I guess they will be waiting til the end of the season to fix the drop rates.

In my opinion, every class should be able to complete pit 150 every season if they max everything out. If you grind 300 paragon, level 100 glyphs, perfect masterwork / tempers on your gear etc. then you should be able to complete 150.

Maybe there could be an achievement and cosmetic unlock for doing it each season. That’d be cool.

I think having content “just in case” doesn’t really make much sense either. Their goal should be to balance the classes so they can all achieve a similar level of power each season. This would be a good barometer of that.

Too lazy to document what they actually worked on. They must think we all are stupid and would not understand what the fixes mean. If anything got fixed.

I’ve mentioned this before, but they kept making the Pit harder and harder just to test broken builds.
