Hi, not sure if this was mentioned before or was in the change/patch notes for the new season, but I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find an answer.
Started playing Diablo 4 3 seasons ago and finished with 221 paragon points last season. Though when I finished leveling my new spiritborn, after reaching 60, all I got was 25 instead of the previous season 221. Really don’t want to grind all the way back up.
Paragon points carry from season to eternal but not season to season.
The paragon points you’re getting at level 60 are from reputation and statues of Lilith that you completed in past seasons.
AT the end of the season paragon is converted and added to Eternal paragon.
Each season is a fresh start from the beginning minus renown and forcing you to redo the campaign. You will not see paragon carry over to seasonal.
Just to add to this, it’s the experience that’s added to the Eternal paragon you have. So for example let’s say you had 220 Paragon on Eternal, and ended the latest season with 200 paragon as well. The amount of experience required to get that 200 paragon will be added to the total experience you have on Eternal, which may equate to a couple of more paragon points.
The whole point of Seasons is to reset us all back to zero, including paragon points.
