Opening up trading houses is imminent

Don’t pay them any mind snipe, they’re here everyday trying to bash anyone who speaks up and says we need an AH. It’s very clear they have invested interest in some capacity of the site. I wouldn’t think it a stretch to say one of them is a staff member of the site that would be rendered useless if an AH was implemented.

Think here for a second. Why are they so passionate about that server and site? Why are they so anti AH? Just think about it mate. Don’t let them get the best of you they’ll just mass flag your posts. Trust me. You’re being bated into an argument that they will ultimately win. continue to speak up about your suggestions, but don’t let them discourage you or bait you into an argument. Just state your point and move on. Let them hate your suggestions as much as they want. Everyone in the community is saying the same exact thing.

Blizzard know we need trading, they just can’t bare another fiasco of D3 AH for whatever reason.

If you dislike that someone wants an auction house then state your peace and move on. You are all VERY passionate about fighting against an AH. One could only imagine why that is… Not too hard to guess if you ask me. :money_mouth_face: :money_with_wings: :moneybag: :chart:

While Blizzard are continuing to drag their feet on implementing an in-game auction house, the seasons are effectively over after 2 weeks for anyone who doesn’t want to use 3rd party trading websites.

I don’t have any dislike of AH. You can just google AH Diablo, there is a wikipedia page build by many passionate Wikipedia hobbyist.

In case you cant find the article in Wiki, you can find them in Forbes and Wired magazine.

You still have no idea Auction House is considered a scandal for Blizzard. It even mentioned in the subject of Interview with ex D3 developers.

Don’t you guys have access to the Internet?

Who cares about that, it was over a decade ago. Blizzard just needs to copy the auction house from WoW. Job done.

We can tell Blizzard 99 good reasons of having Auction House, and all of them are valid and I am 110% support that. But no one in Blizzard will risk their career to even talk about this taboo subject.

Like no male in Activision Blizzard dare to steal the milk of their colleagues in the freezer :joy:

Hopefully PoE2’s release in December will actually encourage them to make a good S7.

If people who say pvp or trading is endgame “sound dumb” (your words), then what exactly is endgame? Let everyone know so we can all play it.

Let me help a bit:

In a computer game, the endgame is the extended gameplay that becomes available after a player has finished the main storyline or reached the maximum level. Endgame content is designed to provide additional challenges, rewards, and longevity to the gameplay experience.

From AI

I’ll be playing poe 2 100% ! Can’t wait. It’s been so long since I played poe1, I just hope that they keep the seasons off set so I don’t have to make a choice because it will ultimately be Diablo in the end.

nope. not at all. as far as i can tell every site is running as normal. Even the oldest one.

How would they be supposed to ban a website? they dont own the internet - neither are these sites illegal. They can forbid it in their ToS, which they do, and ban players caught rmting. Thats it.

Didn’t you make this exact same post yesterday?

real money oction house here it comes! (i hope my scripts are still working from the last one  it was well invested in a brand new pc

Trading is an offset to drop rate.

So games with high drop rates like D4 suffer when trading is in play while games with legendarily low drop rates like D2 are greatly benefited when trading is in play.

So the reason why I object to trading houses in D4 is that the loot just is not rare enough to warrant it. Introducing trading to a game with high velocity, low rarity currency (loot) generally devalues it further making it even worse. So to put that into tangible terms 4GA items become the norm rather than the exception when it comes to expectations of others because the trading system creates an avenue for exponentiality towards the velocity of items acquirable for all players.

In essence two players who have 1 in 10,000,000 items need a trading system to be able to move that but two players who have 1 in 10,000 items will suddenly find themselves overwhelmed with options because the magnitude difference is so much higher than one realizes. It’s statistics but basically you end up with so many options that they all lose value all at once.

Because rmt is the primary driving factor for duping and bot farming, probably.

Market will market. Duping is blizzards fault. Bots gonna bot.

absolutely agree. I doubt they will ever fully be able to get rid of duping tho. All we can hope for is that they are working on their options to detect people who break the rules.

Yes, or just make it official and call it a new feature going forward.

Nope. As to what you’re alluding to. The there was a thread almost identical to the one you made, just by a different person….or your alt.

/eyes suspiciously :mag_right:

I don’t have an alt.

You spelled “Sorry my mistake” wrong.
