I’m still curious how tabs will carry over to Eternal…
Basically they were completely incompetent when they made the stashes, seemingly copied a bunch of code from D3, and its integrated with other things in the game in such a way that it’s hard to fix now without screwing up existing items and characters.
Now make 1-2 more high level characters. Good luck finding storage space without using mule alts.
I have 2 high lvl chars, still, too much stash space lol.
I don’t hoard stuff. I dismantle for mats and aspects. I mostly keep only Uniques.
Probably the same as in D3, all your stashed stuff arrives in a mail type of interface and you have to go through it all and salvage, send to mule characters, or make it fit in stash.
If you’re smart in D3 you salvage everything except for good Primals and Ancients and put those in your character’s inventory.
But if it is as the developers stated, aren’t those items also stored in a manner which requires everyone to load everyone else’s stash?
name me an APRG with only 4 stash tab? this is 70-80$ game, it needs far more than that
Let’s say Torchlight Inf, Last Epoch, Path of Exile, Diablo 3, Titan Quest, GrimDawn…
which one only gives you 4 tab of stashes?
in some free to play game (yes, free, you don’t need to pay 70$ ENTRANCE FEE), company sells stash tab but it’s very cheap and affordable, in POE spend 40$ during sales for stash tab is enough for you forever.
many other online game has no problem with “coding” and limit “stash” at all. I can see a lot of people in a LOST ARK city but why it’s not lagging? all of these players also have a lot of stash tab!
Blizzard creates problems to sell solutions. Blizzard is not the same company of people that built games of love and passion. It is only a company based on greed and profit now. Genre defining games will no longer come from blizzard. You’ll have stash tabs to buy with real money before long most likely.
Voice your opinion with your wallets, $30 for a cosmetic set in your $70-$100 game you just bought… battle pass to force you to restart your mmo character with high effort for FOMO. It’s all marketing and greed.
I think they honestly expect people to buy extra copies of the game in order to play more than 1 class
I used to pack mule in other Arpgs so more characters slots for 20 bucks with ten bucks for stash tabs as ten is a joke. Aspects tokens and hearts just eat up space with the costly respecting till it best to trash everything and stay bored on one or two builds or quit.
While there’s some truth to that I don’t think that “a collection game” aspect is bad. I don’t thnk the answer is necessarily 20-30 stash tabs, but in a game about leveling there should be more character slots. 5 core skills x 5 classes = 25 character slots minimum and probably 1 or 2 more per class that may not be based around core skill. If someone is going to level 25 characters, to me they’ve earned and put their time into that “collection”.
Yes the issue is that Blizz’s inventory system is tuned for people with one character and/or one build, or two at most. If you only have one character four stash tabs is fine - Tab 1 for gear for alternate builds, Tab 2 for gems (assuming you don’t want to sell extra ones for 50g each), Tab 3 for aspects and Tab 4 for everything else. In fact I’m surviving playing my S1 rogue with one stash tab and I haven’t had any issues.
But for people who are altoholics, who have one of each class, and then switch between builds either for variety of min/maxing based on the content they are doing, 4 tabs isn’t anywhere near enough. Once you start wanting to save lower level gear for alts that are going to be levelled later on, then that gear and aspects tab fills up really quickly, not to mention when you are trying to save gear for multiple builds for different alts. In eternal I’m playing all 5 classes, levelled them concurrently switching back and forth, and tried to save up lower level gear to recycle between them all and also tried to save up all the aspects I could, even if I didn’t immediately need it. Doing it like that, I ended up having to create 5 mules, one for each class so I could better sort out which mule was storing which aspect and which piece of gear. I had to delete one alt to accommodate my s1 toon, and will have to eventually delete another one to accommodate my 2nd alt. So as not to lose any aspects, especially the extraction ones, I just sold off most of my gems, I just kept one full stack of each one at the highest level.
Based on how hard they have historically made it for people who play alts in WoW as well, I feel like Blizz just doesn’t think that people play multiple toons and specs that much or they don’t care enough about that segment of the player base to cater to them. I’m sure they can easily data mine their game to see how many accounts are actively playing alts or multiple specs, and have come to the conclusion that the current limit works fine for the majority of players. Because otherwise they would cater to those of us who do play alts and want to try different builds more. Basically I think they are telling us - focus on just one class, one spec and stick to that, and you won’t have inventory problems.
Game Diablo 4 musted have 200 shared stash tabs on eternal realm on PC since Game Diablo 4 had been officially launched on June 5, 2023. 200 shared stash tabs must be available on Game Diablo 4 right now.
you can only be flagged for spam. its a thread from june 2023…
