Happened to me just now in Twisted Ossuary.
happend for me the last 2 times whenever animus showed up. atm alt+f4 as soon as i see animusā¦ kinda losing all my motivation to play D4 further
Upcoming patch 1.1.1:
ā¢ Fixed an issue where Animus carriers killed before the Animus objective was triggered would not drop Animus, blocking dungeon progression.

Typical Blizzard quality game. Last title Iāll ever buy from this now garbage company.
looking forward to this patch then. i just encountered this issue too. 2nd time to this oldstones dungeon. 1st time I encountered the infamous Butcher and i canāt remember running so fast for my life. It took me a while before I got over the Butcher-phobia to come back, and then i encountered this bug 
same thing in Lost Keep just happened to me.
Iām running Oldstones and there isnāt enough Animus to continue with the dungeon! Everything is dead. I checked the whole place 3 times. Blizzard please fix this.
Animus bug is still happening. Was just running Oldstones not enough animus all gone through.

Please, fix! this is so annoying and happens so many times!
Firstly, I donāt want to have to do renown in the first placeā¦ Now, Iām clearing dungeons in order to finish and I canāt finish these with the anima collection.
So, Iām forced to do unfun content (renown) and the only fun part I enjoy of that is the dungeonsā¦ and they donāt work?! Cmonā¦ Blizzard Jeez.
Iām hoping Larian Studios and BG3 inspires Blizzard to do better work.
