Nah it’s not crazy, anything that has a timer on it sucks balls. I don’t want to be forced to log in at a specific time to progress my character.
They changed helltides due to this, World Bosses are fine on a timer providing you are not gating some materials behind them, seeing as legion events are every 25 minutes this feels very similar. They are a gimmick at this point and should be optional.
Used to get quite a few prism from running NM dungeon. This change just makes no sense.
I think they are going to change this. Its the one thing I am seeing most on forums and I think ppl have a point. IF you have to farm so many legions to upgrade your tier 3 gear with slots that you are then on tier 4 then what is the point???
I never got one from Legion. Don’t think this is 50%
I need them to cap my resistances , gem a ring so I can until I can get max paragon if even that can used to cap resistances. Im not sure, I’m running a pretty fun build right now. Have yet to get all my glyphs to 15 / 21 but I’m working on it.
Are you in your final build? Working on your last bit of gear? At least, before you find the optimal greater rolls? If not, you don’t need them.
Like I’ve said here and other places, if a single resist gem is the difference between make it or break it while gearing up then you’re not doing it right.
Considering how infrequently you need them, I’m okay with it. I’d rather prisms be super rare and have forgotten souls be plentiful than the other way around like it used to be. It’s kinda rough for leveling up though…maybe they could change the material cost for adding sockets on regular/sacred gear to something else?
You would be unstoppable with sockets in everything

Being unstoppable is kind of a requirement in Hardcore.

Who does legions? Like honestly
Legion events will definitely be a better source since they are up more frequently. World boss timers are a little ridiculous. I’m always running them when I can especially in the early game and plus I still need that ghostly mount which has evaded me for a while now.
They arent even used that much

to be honest, yeah…
because now we have to go get a piece of decent gear, temper it and hope it wont brick, then freaking reroll whatever useless stat it might have into something serviceable before we finally socket it
this whole loot reborn thing feels more grindy than before somehow lol
At least now the stats make sense, like before you could get even more useless stuff. Shrine duration ring a bell?
