Will the other Master working mats turn into Obducite ? if so what will be the ratio? thanks there is no info on this and thats the mats now on the PTR so its in the 2.0 and would be nice to know our mats we have now wont go to waste …
Don’t know the ratio, but they were not automatically converted on the PTR upon logging in. You could still convert them at the alchemist though.
Now they may have it convert automatically or you may have to convert them when the patch hits, but you definitely won’t lose any materials.
Obducite is the only material. Ingolith and Neathiron have been removed. I saw upgrades requiring 9000 Obducite… Gonna be… Fun?
Is 9000 the total or for the last level? The current conversation rate for the last masterwork level is 500x3x3=4500.
Total, last level was something around 2k+
That’s 3000 ingo = 1000 neath, considering the ranks of new MW I’d say that’s not too bad, well hopefully…
Based on the amount of Obducite I was getting per NMD when clearing everything, it’s going to be quite the grind to MW items to get the choices you want. Got way more with IFH, but that was also helped with converting the higher materials. Wonder if hordes will continue to drop MW mats as I enjoyed running those to NMDs.
Mine wasn’t converted. the obducite was automatically converted to the new obducite. ingolith converts at the alchemist. 1 ingolith for 3 obducite. neathiron also converts to obducite, it’s called “obducite ii” it converts 1 to 9.
it’s something like 18 nightmare dungeons to match 1 current infernal machine. both on the highest tier.
I think i saw a Video where the streamer told 450 Obducite in T3 and 1000 in T4.
But that doesn’t really matter.
I don’t like that I have to play a certain content to get the mats.
I actually want to play different content to hunt loot. The rest of the boss mats/masterworking or other crafting materials should drop on the side.
So for me, this you do this, you get exclusively that and if you do that other thing you will get that, concept is one of the thing i don’t like very much and they’re getting too hung up on it.
If every Elite in every Content would drop Obducite were the better solution in my opinion.
If they wanted to upgrade NMD why not a guaranteed ancestral legendary from the NMD boss. I would liked that.
Maybe not. What if we get ingolith in torment III dungeons and neathiron in torment IV dungeons???
Good incentive to push into torment 4 and capitalise on the obducite drops.
logged in into PTR to see how many Obducite I have, 38… that means for sure Neathiron and Ignolite was not converted for me, normally I had many Neathiron and convert to others only when I needed.
so, this will be ANOTHER hit to Eternal players, we will lose all Neathiron and Ignolite?
bliz doesnt care about eternal, i am sure with so many bugs flying around in ptr they havent even thought about it for the eternal.
ok, no porblem, but is not better then just to delete Eternal realm and remove it from the game? why to keep something that devs does not even care about?
always played eternal always will. i pre ordered VOH as well, we are players and supporters of the game just as seasonal players are.
blizz does care about eternal players. most of the stuff and changes that seasons get we get on eternal too. i think we will be able to convert all mats to obducite on VOH
i just want full information and patch notes about changes so i know how to prepare. not sure but i don’t think there is anything about obducite yet
Nothing was mentioned in the patch notes, but you are able to convert previous materials on the PTR to just Obducite. So either it’ll be an automatic process like with the herbs and ore in S4, or you’ll just have to go to the alchemist. They wouldn’t take away your mats though.
That would go against the point of the new difficulty system allowing you to do everything on any of the torment difficulty’s
Dude … Convert it all before season ends then. problem solved
not before I read the 2.0 patch notes where is clearly stated Ignolite and Neathiron will be removed from the game, because D4 devs change their minds over night you know, they can decide 2 days before 2.0 release that Ignolite and Neathiron will remain…
