Someone else pointed out a similar issue to this: Pickup radius is zero
I actually thought about this last night too in a NMD. I know people instantly have a stroke the moment they see D3 mentioned, but one thing I think D3 did already was pickup radius for certain things. Particularly the โanimaโ in NMDs. I had to back track through an entire dungeon because I missed one anima orb at the start. I do also like the D3 sound of picking up the progression orbs
I also think some NMDs still have the issue of literal backtracking where its just a long quiet walk back to place a statue on a pedestal. I am also not a fan of doing all the bonus objectives to open a treasure room, just to have to back track for it. I end up skipping it if its not along the way
