Just killed Ashava, no death. Killed in 3.5 minutes as well in World 3. No bonus cache provided even though map marker stated the reward was available. A gem, 2 uniques and a rare dropped… no cache.

Here to bump the thread. Same as everyone before me, the map made it clear that I had a loot drop available for killing the world boss, we cleared Ashava in less than 5 minutes, I did not die, and no loot dropped. I recently became WT4 viable, too, so the missed loot opportunity really sucks. Fix your game.

Same here, tooltip says the weekly cache is available, as it should be. 3 items dropped from Ashava, that is all.

I’ve done THREE bosses over the last two days, when the cache shows as available again in the popup, not a single legendary cache drop.

I’ve been thinking about this… I think it happens when the world boss is a Tree Whisper objective that it doesn’t drop the cache…
anyone confirm or invalidate this theory? Or was this just a coincidence?

Might be that, both ashava and wandering for me was whisper

That is false, it was fine in early access where it dropped the cache and you also completed the whisper

Same for me. 5 world boss kills in a row I have not received the weekly cache when it clearly states I have it available. It’s in Torment (T4), I haven’t tried in Nightmare (T3), to see if anything changes. 1 lvl 80 cache is all I have gotten in T4 and since that, no cache. Thought it was because I had it sitting in stash, opened it last night before world boss spawn. Same thing, no cache drop.

ye but we’ve had patches since then, both server and client… have you gotten cache from whisper world boss in the last day or two?
just a theory ofc could very well mean nothing, but the bosses I killed without whisper dropped caches but since finishing story and getting whisper bosses, those don’t drop caches for me seemingly.

That may be correct actually. I haven’t seen a cache since completing the story, or very shortly after that. However, a friend of mine still gets them and he completed it a day after me…so I don’t know.

I’ve only seen 1 cache in T3. At least 8 total world boss kills, some on whisper some not.
Any Blue taking a look into this?
Edit: just killed Avarice. Whisper credit, no cache dropped, 1 legendary, 1 rare, and 2 skulls. I got 2 rates from the goblin during the event, and we killed his chest.
I’m not seeing world boss level rewards here.
Edit 2: just killed Ashava, whisper credit given, no cache, 1 sacred legendary, 1 rare, and 2 magic items. I might stop bothering with world bosses until there’s word of a fix or even investigation.

I used to get them, but not anymore. I heard it was if your dps was too low and I started noticing it when I respecced, maybe it’s that?

Happened again today for, that’s 4x now. The 2 in my party did get the cache but I did not. This makes no sense because there is no reason I shouldn’t get the cache any of the times at least once. This game is such a trashy bug fest that we would never have known about because we were all locked to 1 small area, low levels, etc. So much disappointment but I guess not surprised since it is Blizzard.

Same for me. Yesterday and today. Goldbox Dandy und Poisonspit McGee showed with lootbox tooltip but it dowsn’t dropped.

Same for me, and I assume quite a few players on last night’s Avarice. Everyone was running around for a while after and I was assuming they were all looking for their missing caches. Last time I did Avarice was a week ago and it did clearly state a cache was obtainable from the fight again.
