Not all of the war plan upgrades work

Unless I’m blind. A tier 3 infernal hordes upgrade says at the start of an infernal horde you get a challenge and if you complete the challenge you get +200 aether. No challenge or notification of a challenge in sight. No +200 Aether. I gained a million bazillion aether that round so any challenges would have been completed.

It cost 50 million gold to refund nodes. I have gold. But It’s problematic that you are going to have nodes be bugged and not work and players have to spend 50 million gold to re-spec.

Unless I’m wrong and I somehow did not see this challenge or how to activate it. 50 million gold? Because your game has a bug?

Edit: oh good my Helltide “Ambushes spawn up to four additional hellborne” node doesn’t work either. I was looking forward to trying that one out. 1 hellborne.

UP TO four additional means that it can be 0 additional, 1 additional, 2 additional, 3 additional or 4 additional. It’s RNG.

One would think it would mean at least 2 every time. It doesn’t say “may” spawn.

I would think it would mean at least 1 when the ambush does happen.

Yeah, they are sneaky with the language. “Up to” … “May” (i.e. 1% chance) …

If people are investing their time/effort into the war plans, this stuff “Needs” to happen, especially with the respec costs being as ridiculous as they are.

I had bosses spawning in various places on my 1 character and they never seem to drop anything. Like what is the point?
