Whatever happened to Mother’s Blessing Blizzard? Wasn’t it supposed to begin @10am PDT? There’s been no word of any delay that I’m aware of…
Same question here. Been waiting for it and it just disappeared. Typical blizzard!
It’s now showing as active at the bottom of my screen now. I’m in the central time zone (U.S).
So the sky is not falling after all.
Mother’s Blessing typically starts @10am PDT (12pm CDT). It was over an hour late. If one may recall, there was a significant delay of over 24 hours for Mother’s Blessing a few months back. Is there a problem with inquiring why Mother’s Blessing didn’t start on time?
They may have forgotten to spring forward with the time change, so if it started an hour later that would make sense. As 10 AM PST, without accounting for daylight savings, would be an hour behind.
I have a very hard time believing that. Especially given how large of a company Blizzard is…
I don’t, considering the fact they rarely change the times when we do fall back or spring forward. Any number of events have been delayed prior to this. So this doesn’t surprise me in the least. It’s sad that it doesn’t, but nothing I can do about it, so I’m not to about to worry.
It’s a fact. Their patching process does not account for the time change so until the time changes back patches will drop @ 11 am PDT unless otherwise stated.
As a reminder: in January, D3’s season was ‘accidentally’ cut short by a month, because apparently someone forgot to cancel the cancellation. Then the next season was delayed by a few weeks to allow more attention for D4 S7, because the studio forgot they were scheduled for a few days apart. Weird coincidences aside… the studio itself is saying “we forget basic things”.
