Newbie friendly druid builds

Heyo.

So I got bored of playing my rogue at 87 (seasonal) and decided to try something fresh. I’ve got a druid now at 25, playing werewolf & companions, i read that it was one of the worst builds but that’s ok im just leveling up!

Just wondering what are the requirements for the builds i see people discussing (lighting werewolf, pulvarize, tornado etc)?

For tornado werewolf and lightning shred you’ll need a tempest roar helmet (very rare unique) - you can try them without it, but they’re not very good unless you have it.

If you go poison shred you’ll need aspect of the blurred beast.

Pulverize requires shockwave aspect.

For endgame: trample slide and bulwark (uses nature’s fury) seem to be the best.

But if you like werewolf with companions it can actually go pretty far (~NM70). You’ll want shepherd’s aspect on a 2h weapon (or on amulet if you use waxing gibbous unique weapon) and aspect of stampede on a bracer or ring. This build is 100% made to maximize shred damage and is a bit of a glass cannon in nightmare dungeons. Your companions are for utility and buffing shepherds aspect only - they don’t do damage. Passive damage of companions have their +willpower and +damage additionally multiplied by their skill damage - so there’s no way to get them to do good damage for the time being (poison creeper is great is poison shred or trample slide builds though).

shifter pulverize is a great build
