It’s more likely they didn’t test it thoroughly. I’m pretty sure the bug came with the Winter brew elixir being put back into the game and whatever change/s inadvertently effected the quest elixir.

There is literally zero logic to what you just said. I can’t imagine anyone that would defend the game using that kind of logic…I think the only weird comparisons used are the ones you listed off. And one can like aspects of the game without supporting all of it…but everything is required to be in black and white, seems like. No gray areas whatsoever.
I would say the game is not definitely “so good”. Lots of major issues, but if you were to treat a child the same way most people bash and insult the devs…that child would likely be scarred for life. Just some food for thought

How about investigating why you can’t release a single patch, update, expansion, game, etc, without completely screwing everything up?
Can we get someone investigating that?
Can we get someone investigating why a paid product came with an unfinished, bugged out class, bugged out content, and took the game backwards from where it was previously?

This is dumb. Some of us work really hard and enjoy this game. Hours, min maxing, grinding and farming for the best gear. We put up with all the bugs and terrible decisions made by the dev team. You are ruining your game, franchise and blizzard is slowly becoming a meme. I logged on today to everyone in trade chat selling t150 carries… I got Fell Maven a few seasons ago, and play HC for the extra challenge. Having Fell Maven on HC is very rare… Now it means nothing. Anyone who legitimately plays this game just got another reason to not care about it anymore.
Having an unbalanced class is one thing, be able to do all content instantly, at any level, with any gear… because of a potion… is BROKEN. Fix your game.,

yeah, spiritborn is busted anyway. others can play some overpower builds now - so it’s whatever.
the season is bugged as hell anyway, so why even bother anymore
yes but please do not nerf midseason, players time need to be respected. and anyway, the rest of the players are not affected, so keep the nerf for season 7-8.

As mentioned several times prior. Bugged Elixirs don’t fall under it. I do not know if you recall but in S4, the Holy Bolts elixir was scaling off of the necro minions and they fixed in mid season. So, enjoy it while you can because it will be fixed either later today or tomorrow.
This is actually fun! Could you make the event potion grant 200%(x) damage as well, even if it’s just for a limited time? It would help people level up their glyphs.

The HolyBolt elixir was before they announced that they would not be doing nerfs mid-season.
I also think this will be patched pretty quickly tho…
No, the they wont nerf during the season thing has been since S2.
You can see them state this in the most recent campfire chat from last week.
As for how quick, they will patch it… yeah, that is speculation on my part no doubt. Just trying to say that enjoy it while you can.

They said they weren’t going to nerf class mechanics that have been used since the beginning of the season because people had put a lot of time and effort in to them. This potion isn’t working correctly just like the holy bolts. If they don’t fix it, they are going to lose a substantial amount of players who enjoy the content of the game and don’t want to just cheat and skip it all.
