I had that happen to me once. I just went to the character select screen and came back and I was in town.
Have only had it happen to me once out of the hundreds of runs.
Yeah first for me too for this one. And I did the same left to character select and re-entered in town.

Yeah it does. Im curious how important IH will be in a few weeks. We didnt get to test it on the ptr and its my favorite content for masterworking.
Well I personally think they will lower the payout in IH, or raise it in pits so it makes sense to do both. Currently there is no reason to do pits based on the difference in payout.
I mean well Stygian Stones have been dropping for me in pitsâŚbut I think that is more RNG based.
The only time I have done pits is where I need a rank or two in MW to do the next level for IH solo. But honestly it is easier to find a group to do the next IH instead. Like I donât usually farm mats with my other character, I like to play it as I only have one character and soloâŚso my tweaking goes better.

Congrats! This means youâve WON! You beat it so badly, they didnât have anything more to give you. You bankrupted the 3 bosses. This should be a special achievement.
If you look closely you can see the two companions have taken the chests.
This is your fault for keeping everything on the previous runs and not sharing with them.
I have seen this happen. Kinda annoying but yeah you just have to redo it.

There is, actually. For some builds, even the vaunted lightning sorcerer build, some players have difficulty doing IH7/8 but can do say, a pit 70. Thatâs currently where Iâm at. So if I want neathiron I have to do the pit. IH mob HP just wrecks me, and I have all three mythic uniques (shako, tyraelâs, starless skies). What I found really perplexing was that the guides all said ditch starless once you have a good tal rashaâs ring, but I find that I can maintain higher output and far, far more uptime on conjurations (e.g. lightningn spear, ice blades) with starless due to not constantly being mana starved.
Infernal hordes has been sucking massively lately though because it really is nothing but spire after spire. And I prefer to do IH vs. pit because I loathe both the timer requirement in pit and the shadow boss mechanic that really has no place in a Diablo game. This isnât a WoW mythic raid.
Oh I know for solo players I completely agree, I thought I stated âI do it tooâ just for a few masterwork levels then back to IH.
But what I have found is if you group up for the next IH level with randoms, the one you canât do yetâŚyou can probably clear it with like 3 or 4 similar situation players. Just gives you more options to be picked up in case you get caught by some ground effect.
My new build the upper limit of damage is somewhat lower than what it should be right now (still tweaking it, in fact I thought it may have been higher before my last set of changes, it is a pet build, the one in the pic)âŚbut I donât die, I have found a way around this. So having more people makes the boss fight quicker. Like in this pic, I am probably not really ready to do IH6 yet based on where my gear isâŚbut ability to stay alive allowed me to finish it.
And completely agree with the options they present you being worse than earlier in the season.

I havent seen this bug in hoards,but i got it last night in a nm 100 dungeon. Boss died and no chest, no glyph upgrade.
They are removing them from Pits and putting them in NM dungeons. Pits are just for progression and glyph leveling. I imagine that IH will get a rework on what drops there.
They seem to want to distinguish each piece of content. They say they want them to all be relevant but what they are doing is making them all forced. There is a big difference. A better way IMO would be to make each thing efficiently do one thing but partially do another. That would make everything relevant instead of forced. People could just do the content they want, as everyone likes different things.
As for the bug. Sorry that happened. Bugs happen in every game. I personally never had this happen and Iâve done hundreds of runs through 4 different characters.
Some sort of auto trigger got bugged out. I had this happen and strangely enough mine was on Tier 6 as well. I only had it happen 1 time though.
S6 I also have had black screen after portal a handful of times. Never seen that before.
Agreed, and this restriction will just be more pronounced as the game ages. Hopefully, if they end up hiring a developer to fix Irresâ bug, they will appreciate this nuance.
Do not expect too much from headless chicken developers.
The problem with the expected build is that even with good rolls, a tal rasha setup leaves the build severely mana starved and I find myself waiting to be able to cast frozen orbs again to wind down the cooldown on lightning spear. Starless lets me continuously fire off FOs and maintain near 100% uptime on multiple lightning spears, resulting in higher overall damage for me despite tal rashaâs providing the theoretically better overall multiplier (which IMO tal rashaâs needs to be reworked as it is not healthy for the class as a whole as it just completely curtails gear diversity in builds).
d4 is 10/10 dissapointment
