Nerf 300 or buff xp to get to 300

While I understand the urge to be clever and have insults you’re proving your own position wrong. You brought up that it was seasonal but if you can make it half way in 20 days why would it be problematic if you have 90 days? “They go hand in hand!” You’re correct. If you can make it even a quarter of the way through the total experience required by now, which everyone can even as casually playing, you will make it to 300 before the end of the season.

Don’t prove yourself wrong. That never looks good.

While I do agree 300 seems like much, I do like a grind and something to do. I just wish that something was actually more diverse and fun, because now the only viable way to get to 300 is speed running lower Pit tiers.

I also think Blizzard should not have made reaching paragon 300 a trophy on PS5. It’s way too much compared to the normal work you have to put in to get a trophy. I play on both PC and PS5. I also need to watch out that I hit the paragon 300 on PS5, because it doesn’t unlock if you got it on PC and log on there after. I will just get it once and then probably never again, which is fine by the way.

Also people complaining they’re only at paragon 200 now… you must be really, really casual. My son sometimes plays with me on PS5 (and me then on PC) and he’s paragon 208 now without even trying. Took like a day…

My position is laughing at you feeling bad for a multi billion dollar company. You cannot prove a subjective opinion wrong. Also, please make an attempt at punctuation.

I know. But you just claimed otherwise. Now you’re back tracking to make a feeble attempt to save grace.

As I have clearly stated: people have real life obligations. Those obligations limit time. While my situation is different from others, there are those that have vastly limited time. You’re still grasping for nothing.

Hahaha! Looking “good” is such a funny statement. Being wrong and learning from it (take notes) is more important. I don’t care for posturing.

This isn’t even good cherry picking.

Uninstalled? That’s an exaggeration. Which content was not playable for you with 200 paragon?

Btw. I think either 282 or 284 is half the way to 300.

These people would have CRIED at D3 and after say 1500ish PL it got HARD. After 2000 it was absolutely hard and you would have people in 4000-5000 range by the end of season who no lifed it or botted it.

My highest in a D3 season was when inna monk was absolutely OP and able to do 150s without 2500+ PL. I still only managed to get to around 2200-2300 PL because it was absolutely insane how much you had to grind.

We have SB OP build now, and with that you can grind to 300 a bit faster than with a barb or something but the thing is WHY are you doing it? To have a char go on ethernal and never play it again?

Trying to compete with streamers is never going to work for the average player.

1-284 is 285-300. Crazy right? But then as someone who did D3, not really.

It’s basically endless paragon with an end (you really aren’t supposed to hit it). Had they not set a cap nobody would be worried about hitting 300.

I’m at 276 and going 277 tonight. You don’t really need much past 250. I think at 260+ everything is extra.

If getting to 300 is gonna be faster, then it’s gonna be even boring than what you are complaining at.

I think getting a 6th paragon board at 230+ would be an incentive to push further so those excess paragon points would be useful for those who want it.

But getting to 300 faster won’t make the game interesting. You are severely mistaken OP

i am fairly certain that you could grind to 99 in d2 in way less time than it takes to get to 300 in d4.

i am 262 atm and t110 pits barely makes the bar move with full consumables.

this isn’t fun, it’s just boring and a huge waste of time.

(working as intended)

while I do agree with you 100%, there is a bit of a difference between the 2 situations.

d2 was literally designed where 99% of the playerbase was never going to hit 100 (pre-LoD). the playerbase knew this and was fine with it. It was accepted. Hell, most players knew they would never hit 90. PoE copied this and still uses it to this day.

With d4 tho, we have hit max very easily before this season. it was always obtainable to hit the top. every season until now. it was a goal that the average player could hit. and now its not.

again, i agree with you that most people playing d4 would lose their minds playing pre-LoD d2, but also again, d4 was designed completely different. the goal was always realistic and now blizzard took that away.

Like lmfao if your only issue atm is reaching paragon 300 you are a certified cretin!

I agree with all your points but also point out that they have so many issues in the game now…

Last 2 seasons I could play a lower powered class and still have a bit of fun AND yes even get to maxed out level and decent gear

Now I have been grinding the idiotic paragon since week one BUT my gear is mostly GA 1 with a few GA 2 items and they really aren’t spot on for stats either as GA gear DOESN’T DROP much even in T4 with the stupid opals on …

Leveling is SO bad now too at least before I could try a different class but now here I am playing the only class that really works well enough to play higher end content (though might be TOO powerful I will acknowledge)

Then there is your Aspects that just aren’t dropping in high enough amounts to level up the codex …

the way they have made the game Codex should be all characters combines like the paragon…

they turned the whole game into a chore with no real good parts…

Dark Citadel was okay a few times but then why bother.,

Under City okay for a couple tries but then it is just a regurgitated Pit with single bosses at the end that drop NOTHING of value.

If D4 S6 is the best blizz can come up with closing the doors would be a good idea before you burn through more of the money uselessly

Lets say 250+ is considered endgame. We need more to do during endgame.

Anyway i was there beta and prebeta i grind 2 lv 100 druid before s1 trust me it was a terrible experience + the game was terrible at that time and i just quit on s1….Now WOW a ton of QOL added the game is 10000 time better then it was BUT at P200 atm i can see the wall coming…The fact that there absolutely no point to this game it just a HUGE grind…No leaderboard at least for me is a terrible thing for my motivation…But from someone who was there at very start let me tell you the game is soooooooo much better it just crazy…But i know very soon i will just tell myself: Not worth it i stop there for now.Anyway sorry for my poor english!

Blood golem necro, 3 ancestrals, rocking T2, can do T3 but kills aren’t super fast yet. About 220 paragon.

No you don’t need to hit 300 to do well. It’s a gift for those of us that want a longer grind that’s at least a guarantee of eventual power, unlike the loot grind.

They also need to add things to do AFTER 300. Get to 300, do your max pit level clear.

And then? AFK till next season?

Oh yeah lets farm for item upgrades with slightly higher numbers by small %'s than we already have.

Cringe.

They would not have made Paragon 300 so hard to reach if there was anything to do after it. Grinding for +5 stats is the best they have for endgame. They should have stat increases that occur when you reach certain levels. +300 strength when you reach 275 as an example. 1 billion experience for +5 strength? Really?

:100:

Having that end makes all the difference though.

Endless paragon was, and is, terrible design.
This is not it. The lvl cap really can be reached, even within a single season.

A shame it is account-wide though.

You can get most of the bonus activated by glitch your paragon board
