Lets see if doing high damage is the only thing that makes the game fun. Begin gentleman.
Invalid question imo. Every single aspect of this game is strongly colored with:
- Corporate sluggishness or unbound and apparently displayed greed and self interest.
- A vile / disgusting / gross / horrific art style.
That’s simply not how this experience works. Its a combination of being grossed out in a casino while being milked of your time and money.
I like the story, but its in no way a fun one.
I like the goblin events a lot. Still hoping they throw one in here at the end of the season. If not, I did everything I wanted to do in S8.
Typing stupid things in trade chat
Meeting random people
Trolling people
No such thing as an invalid question but I hope to see if doing the most damage is the only way anyone has fun.
If that is the case Blizzard should look at other ways to make the game fun seeing as we’re entering season 9 coming off fresh big nerfs without compensation.
“I started having more fun because I started doing more damage.” Is that all? Anything else Little Billy? Was anything else about the game fun?
No mom.
Well maybe we should fix that.
Whatever mom.
Beating the snot out of demons
I enjoy helping players learn the game, their characters or builds.
Handing away free GA loot to under geared players or build defining unique to players who are clearly not knowing what direction to take themselves in.
Forums (well reddit) has carried Diablo 4 hard.
The conversations are more engaging than the game TBH and kept me active.
Coming up with and seeing all of the great ideas players had for the game was very fun for a long time, until it settled in that we will never see any of them.
How to add more fun into the game?
Ask the community managers who should have folders full of great ideas.
It’s been 2 years, thousands and thousands of ideas.
I’ve basically been an unpaid community manager on reddit for the past two years and the amount of cool things I have saw… It’s a damn shame this studio hasn’t acted on any of it.
new thorns unique being given to spiritborn is f*ing criminal
The original epic storyline and campaign was very fun! I would love to see more of that in Diablo IV, for sure!
And, another thing that will make D4 fun - is for the game to finally get out of buggy beta land, and get fixed and improved, so the game can finally be awesome, fun and rewarding to play, as we all expected and paid for over 2 years ago. Cheers! - JJ -
The Butcher was fun on release. The main story too.
Butcher is better in s8 than the joke he was in s7.
@OP I think leveling to 60 is fun, because you can try lots of things and they all work to some degree.
The music and sound.
Nah. Prefer to play wiithot sound but play my own music playlist…
Back to OP, something fun ingame for me is to kick out leechers from party…
I had a lot of fun post-launch up through mid-tier NMDs before I realized how stale and unrewarding that loop was, and before I was subjected to the game being a nonstop assault of aimless, back-and-forth changes that consistently makes multiple things worse for every thing they improve (when they improve anything at all.)
I wanted to give this a stab.
How does the peanut butter?
Did you on the tomorrow?
Chicken breast foreclosure?
Oo ee oo ah ah, ting tang walla walla bing bang?
Really? Why does Quora exist?
Although it only happens a few times at the start of a season, I always enjoy choosing new player title combinations. After that the game is basically over for me. jk
I would say logging out but “the community” would flag is as trolling and it will get removed.
Funny how everyone is entitled to their opinion unless it disagrees the white knights and bots.
Well, back in the early days of D4, finding the Lilith altars was fun.
I can’t really think of anything else I consider “fun” that doesn’t involve DPS.
Kind of like asking what’s fun about an FPS but you can’t talk about shooting people.
