Yangs recurve please

I like this idea but Iâd be satisfied with a mythic greatsword that gave Druid the unique ability to consume ambient creatures. Hear me out: When triggered, Druid would, with enormous (pun intended), force thrust the greatsword through the mouth out the rear of an ambient creature, like a deer (with an awesome SQUOOCH soud effect), and spit roast it over a cooking fire, monster hunter style. The D2 town music would play while the it spins over the fire. When done, the Druid would make an appreciative sound or say something, grab it and chow down for a full heal.
I donât play Druid but that would make me play Druid. There would be no ambient creatures left on the map because thatâs all I would be camping ambients all day. âHey, somethingâs wrong. Where are all the creatures? Oh, I know whatâs going onâŚâ And Iâd be like: Look dawg, itâs not my fault the spawn rate canât keep up. Thatâs a supply chain issue. I have no control over that so youâre going to have to speak with Blizzard. I did nothing wrong, my man.
Rogues are already tied with Sorc in âbaby easy mode classâ, they donât need to be stronger. In fact they need massive nerfs more then anything else.
a mythic dagger would make more sense. after all the only class that can use bows or xbows is the rogue and no single class has a class specific mythic. this might change with the spiritborn but we dont know yet because it is obvious that the datamine isnt accurate because no way is it going to have +10 to all skills as an affix that can both be ga and masterworked. so i will wait till voh and see if that item is even a thing or just trollbait
Any class could use a mythic bow.
itâs called a resplendent spark.
but it could only drop for rogues or be used by rogues. hmm interesting take.
For a second I thought you said it could only be dropped by rogues.
That would be an interesting take.
Carrying a 2 handed melee weapon in a 1 handed melee weapon slot with a penalty to itâs stats imo would be nice for all classes.
In general I dislike weapon type restrictions unless they make sense. Like bows for rouges but any class should be able to rock any weapon if it makes sense.
Lmao way too overpowered
And completely useless.
This is why most people arenât game designers.
bows and xbows would only drop for rogues pr be usable by rogues. thats how the game works. do you not realize that?
I like that Rogueâs have gotten 3 unique bows already and also very early on. All of them are interesting in their design.
Sure, mythic crossbow would be cool to have. But since mythic items are not exactly rare anymore, it would be kind of disappointing to me if another purple item is able to wipe all three away, just because it is overpowered.
I understand perfectly well that bows or crossbows would only drop for rogues and be âequipedâ by rogues.
Yet like any mythic they could be âusedâ by any class by breaking it down into a resplendent spark.
I am also aware that currently âpre-expansionâ (Vessel of Hatred) there are 6 mythics that can be equipped by any class and then two more that can only be equipped by two classes each.
- The Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander which can only be equipped by Druid and Sorcerer
- The Grandfather which can only be equipped by Barbarian and Necromancer.
This gives Druids, Sorcerers, Barbarians and Necromancers a total of 7 possible mythics to choose from while rogues are limited to the base 6.
This is why I believe it would be a great idea to give rogues a class specific mythic of their own, and as daggers can be equipped and used by multiple classes, designing a mythic rogue specific bow or crossbow makes logical sense.
Limbo, The Astral Projector
Mythic Crossbow
30% movement speed, crit chance, and lucky hit - Inherent
Plus 1 to all skills and Plus 1 to all for each skill on cooldown (all here is all heroes)
Whenever you lucky hit, restore 3% health and resource.
Magnetic - 200% elite damage (masterworking always hits a magnetic affix)
Lucky hit 5% - Send your target to Limbo for 2 s.
Gain a 7th hotbar slot. This skill in this slot must have a cooldown and cant be a rogue or basic skill and has double the cooldown and always lucky hits.
Limbo - Being sent to limbo has random effects when it ends. Might heal them, execute if low life, deal 3x damage, never come back, charm them on your side for a duration, ect. Some effects dont work on bosses or players but increase stagger bar by a large amount.
The druid already is the supersized option. Iâd probably like playing one, or at least looking at one, if they gave us a Druid Zero alternative. Current one is too starchy.
I loved this in D3! ///
I will just slightly correct your OP.
So in the end there is one class specific weapon and it is still not class exclusive.
Iâll never forget my first Primal Yangs when I was playing unhallowed essence.
I feel like D4 could do something with yangs where it could add multi shot to all core skills or something like that.
Would be super cool for rogue builds
And thatâs all Iâd wear on my rogue
