You are going to just love the expansion.

Show me one example of this from X, Reddit, D4 Forums please. Otherwise you are just projecting your own beliefs, Do you work for Kotaku by chance?

This post is Satire right? You can’t actually be this soft.

Yes beating the game involves finishing the story/campaign. Anything else is side crap. Any real gamer knows this. I can’t believe I have to write this -.-

You have completely invalidated any prior and future opinions that you may have on the game. Carry on. You are unworthy of my time.

“Fine” is a stretch and I dunno about “fit”, but there’s not a particular large sample size.

My favorite potato sacker will always Dobby. He’s fit, is fine for an elf, is a fanatic for Harry (and freedom), and def wears the sack better.

:joy::joy::rofl: brilliant you had me really laughing at the Pokémon part that nearly killed me :joy::joy::rofl:

Oh no am I unworthy of you conversation cause I haven’t beaten Uber Lilith? Oh no what shall I do? I haven’t clearly beaten the game in your eyes cause I’m not an elitist. I think I’ll live. I really could care less what your opinion is. You sound like a 10 year old. Oh herp derp you didn’t beat the game cause you didn’t kill Uber Lilith. What the hell kind of thought process is that? Not like I’m missing out on anything special. There no point in beat Uber Lilith.

Yea when they make the Pinnacle boss not drop anything it gives no purpose for people to try her, I personally think a few of the best items in the game should be tied to her, risk vs reward has never been a thing in d4 tho

Bro, D4, while having some very good presented CGI movies, most of the game is just trash story with trash characters you don’t even care about. You don’t play Diablo for the story.

People play it for endgame and new seasonal content.

Btw, i actually am a person that appreciate good story and presentation in games like Final Fantasy 7-10, Metal Gear Solid Series, Silent Hill 2 etc. Diablo does not have that, they are only good at a few things.

I came back for the last 2 seasons after quitting at launch, what seasonal content?

I agree. The endgame is important, and I would agree it’s what people stay for,but Diablo 4 has very garbage endgame content that I find not worth my time when there other arpg out there that do so better. I am a fan of the Diablo lore though, but I feel they butchered it in Diablo 4 in some ways.

I loved lilith for what she offered as a character.
Well written, great VA, great scenes.
She does have a sexualized figure but thats where it ends.

Nyrelle is being discussed because she is the main character of the game driving the story in our place. Its not lorath or the other dude that kicked the bucket like he just made a hardcore character that entered his first dungeon in torment 4 lvl1 gearless.

The overall side cast outside of Lorath was “meh” at best. I will give some annoying examples:

  1. we present the soulstone we crafted after sooo many quests to Inarius so he can just steal it from us. Like what were our Horadrim supersmart friends thinking right there?
  2. chubby horadrim creates a soulstone and talks about the toll that it takes and the hardship of it. this whole soulstone crafting thing was the most “meh wth” part of the game. all i got from it was me seasoning a rock.
  3. chubby horadrim kicks the bucket the way he did. like seriously horadrim are all wise all knowing and all. he should have known better.

and to the point
4) Nyrelle is always in the spotlight doing mistakes, crying, thinking of he past and all. When compared to Lilith that established dominance from her first cutscene, shows pain and emotions, shows coldness by killing the horadrims son, has one of the most epic cutscenes of killing Inarius. Nyrelle simply cannot compete. She is a child that is forced into the grow up process in the limited time of our campaign so she an carry the story forward. We see her excited to learn horadrim secrets and knowledge, we see her losing her mother and losing herself, we see her make bad decisions and finally we see her make the most critical decision in the game. She is like that Final fantasy-esque rpg main characters love interest that develops her character in 50 hours of game. But this happens in 1 hour of her.

Its the writting that does her wrong and the role she fulfils. To this day, it never even crossed my mind about how sexy or not Nyrelle is. And as i said before, since she is the protagonist in our place, she is also the protagonist of the comments related to the story.

I liked this reply a lot.
I still dont feel like there was much of anything to dislike about someone as generic as Nyrelle, but i liked the way you laid all that out. You obviously thought it through

Also his name is “Donan”. Say it with me. its not hard. “Donan”

Yes, she turned out very well done, grilled to perfection.

Seared with seduction. As charred as she is charming and spicy to boot

Also on a more serious note. Its not about having something to hate. Its about the main character not being up to the standards of a main character. So she gets criticized a lot.
The main problem is that she was put in that position so she can deliver the story of the expansion. We needed a character that will strive with the soulstone to make the connection to D1 and the corruption of the wanderer and whatever lies ahead. We needed to know her mother and her loss so we can see her having those visions of a person we know, of a loss we understand, so the terrors that mephisto will put upon her are things that we also understand.

Honestly i hope she turns out to be a great character and not simply taken over by mephisto. That whole setup would be too obvious for my liking and since we already set a backstory for her, i d love to see her grow and have impact on the story of diablo.
