My Early Access characters deleted after linking PSN to blizzard account?

I suspect the problem is either our original Xbox/PSN accounts were linked to a different battlenet account during the EA period, and when we linked to the new one, we lost access to the EA progress and account.

Yes. The progress stays with the Battlenet account. That is how it is designed to work I believe.

This is for D2R, but the same concept applies.
