I like the direction that the team seems to be taking the game. Improvements are nice.
But, when can we expect a little more information on the expansion?
Would like some faith restored. Nothing builds hype like a new xpac.

We’ll probably get the expansion at the end of season 4 or 5. End of season 4 puts it around August while the end of season 5 puts it around November. I feel like end of season 5 is more likely. They can let players stew a bit with the new systems and new class and then start seasons back up in January all clean.

They are running out of time to market this thing if that’s the case.
They said end around the end of the year. But I rather wait, than to get a rushed game again.

I hear ya. That’s a valid point. They can still give us SOMETHING.
Market the expansion? They already have a trailer for it they tossed up at the start of the year. There’ll probably be a more in depth trailer mid season of whatever season it releases at the end of.

Closer to release, which I would expect at the end of this year, or beginning of next depending on how far things get pushed back. So mid or end of Season 6 would be my best guess for more information. If not later.

Yes, the very same one. The one where if it wasn’t for Mephisto narrating it, you couldn’t tell it was a trailer for anything Diablo related.

Exactly. That’s not much at all is it. Not asking for a full reveal, but they can give us something.
If Microsoft got one of their traditional game showcases in June, that could be a good bet.
As for release, after season 6 would be my guess.

I am looking forward to some more info on the expansion as well, what they told us so far wasn’t really much. My guess is that we’ll start hearing more about it in the summer, likely July-August, assuming that the expansion will be released in October-November (i.e. 3 months before release).
The most recent answers from the dev live, and one of the posts on the forum answerd by Pez was, that they will share more info as they get closer to release, but nothing yet. Thats the closest you get to “it’s not cancelled”.

When is Blizzcon? November…ok so if we get the announcement there, it’ll be next year after S6 I assume, that’s if Blizzcon is playing a part in the marketing, tbh later is better than early with Blizz.
I was hoping they’d drop it in November in time for Christmas, so I could play over the holiday, right? But I don’t want some half finished rushed effort.
Anyway I think when S4 is underway we’ll get an announcement about an announcement…etc etc.
Maybe they do maybe they don’t. They’ve certainly done a lot to dissatisfy plenty of people since launch.

I believe at last blizzcon they said that more expansion info would come this summer. The end of the trailer said launch was in late 2024 so I would expect more info coming around june or july.
