Monkey started his mythic runs yesterday and

…was not able to be fully decked in mythical items before he went to bed.

The amount of mythics dropping from the Superior Boss fight against the Corrupted Reaper is insane.

Than i did the crafting test and saved an inventory tab full of unique Harrogath Chest pieces and transformed them into mythic version. After that i also burned the rest of my P-Frags and i did not get a single useful item (Fury Gen & +to Resource)

I can still turn in 300 reknown chests to get a pawful of P-Frags. Maybe i have some better luck if i scrubb it on my lower hairy back.

Long story short: Filthy, unwashed monkey was not able to fully get decked in mythic items within a short evening after the latest patch came out.

To Do List:

  • burn my last 300 P-Fraqs
  • Superior Key Farming, buying 10 additional stash tabs to store all the unique items i need for transformation.

I still have 11 Mythic UC Trips but the UC loot havent been upgraded yet. So save your Trips for the next patch.

But what did i get?

  • Plenty of Grandfathers (1x useful but ofc w/o any GAs)
  • Some Seligs (1x useful but ofc w/o any GAs)

Now i will burn all my greater Lair Boss Keys :see_no_evil_monkey:

I would argue that ANY Grandfather/Selig is useful and would get a Barb into insta-T12.

Sure, if you have godly gear now, only godly gear +1 or better will suffice. But anyone seeking to complete the Season/Season Journey can do it extremely quickly compared to last week.

Point being - it’s all relative. Remember your first post about your first GF this season?

Last week I would have said any GF you have is godly (because most don’t have it).

This week a basic GF is peasant gear found at the Goodwill.

How things change! I hope you get your Godly +5 Grandfather!

Im not unhappy with my gear but what i really wish for is what i always mention when it comes to endgame:

A reason for non enthusiastic pit/tower pushers to get all their stuff as good as possible:

  • entering a gate into countless layers of hell (increasing difficulty) with awesome bosses and nice loot (also persistant loot which spices up every loot hunt)

I havent seen my GF (the flying Succubus in T12 IHs that was able to 1-shot even Immortal Barbs) for al long time since i adjusted my Infernal Hordes Skill Tree. :grinning_cat_with_smiling_eyes:

Yeah, i must have made 10 focus trying to get the Onyx (frozen orb) and didn’t get not even one.

Keeeeeeeeeek. Im pissed.
But I’m fine.

I’ve always said removing the crafted tag still didn’t mean mythics raining from the sky. The RNG getting one for your build and the additional RNG on 2/4 affixes means you can’t just snap your fingers and be decked out in mythic uniques.

Rings have a big pool when you gamble at the cube and I’ll be lucky to find a great ancestral Tibault’s Will by the end of the season let alone a mythic unique one. That’s fine, I enjoy a few chase items.

How are Unique Items actually Unique?

Everyone has them. Shouldn’t it be limited to 1 , period.

Because its just a video game and terms like Legendary/Unique were not supposed to be taken literally.
