does this take into account having two aspects on dual wielding, or is this just a dps comparison?
I believe minions also inherit life on kill.
They may also inherit some of your healing over time when not damaged.
My minions certainly heal on their own over time, and they also will heal a bit mid fight even when i dont have a priest buff going.
The loading screen is saying 30% of attack speed, I am unsure how to verify the other stats besides critical damage. According to my spreadsheet numbers and taking an average I was only seeing 30% critical damage for the damage range. To test this I ran a low level weapon and let my minions hit 100 times. Then I recorded the lowest and highest and took the average and cross referenced that to the weapon. This appeared to come up within 28.7% to 31.4% of the weapons damage. I did the same with critical chance and critical hit damage. To be honest I hope you are right though as it would make the top end of minions astronomically better.
minons can get damage multiplier with elemental damage bonus i mean cold damage, physcial damage ?
From what I have heard no. People were complaining about physical damage not applying. Whether or not that is true I’m not sure yet. The biggest problem with testing is having access to gear, no target dummy, having to get naked and use a weapon with like 100 damage, etc.
I imagine blizzard is going to rework minions as a whole as even with perfect gear you hit about as hard as a level 50 bone Necro.
Yeah attack speed is 30% the rest I wrote are correct.
- Minions gain 30% of your attack speed, critical strike chance, and critical strike damage.
I doubnt that with 100% crit and 560% crit dmg minion number should be high if they take 30% from our stats and it just never happen.
-
So basicly no dmg, since on bonemancer build u hit for fem millions per shoot.
-
Bone mage constantly dying u cannot even outheal u need rise new one every moment
where the druid version at for wolves/vines
They get 100% crit damage
There is no feasible way to run that build in my opinion. They don’t even get nodes for companions.
Shame all of the minion nodes are not multiplicative. So many small ways to help them do more/take less damage with simple tweaks.
I think it’s more of a shame minions base is so low. Additive pots would eventually get you there if core skill damage wasn’t so low to begin with.
I’m using Blighted Aspect on my 2H for an almost 240% boost in damage which will shoot me up to an ~18k sheet attack power. It seems to me this is a very solid buff for minions and your own damage especially considering BCE is so prevalent on minion builds. In large packs, where I find I struggle the most, it has high uptime as it stacks up pretty quick.
It gives 6 seconds of 240% then it falls off until you stack 10x again. You are better off running thorns then wildly and somewhat randomly getting a 6 second buff. Like its ok for boss fights but bad for general clearing.
It really isn’t that bad. It’s actually slower to stack on single target bosses which has me wondering if you’ve really tried it. Spamming BCE into a huge group of enemies it pops in just a couple seconds.
i agree. minions should get at least 50% of every stat. i mean its not too much. Barbs running around dealing millions and billions crits.
Blighted takes like 2-4 seconds to pop when spamming BCE + Blight. It’s up most fights while clearing but takes longer against a boss. I use the pull (Void) and with Umbral I can spam Blight infinitely.
i have a question to you necro pro’s. so some recommend crit chance and crit damage for such builds. question is, how much crit chance can you get with rings and gloves? because it seems like in diablo 4 you are far away from diablo 3 crit chances around 50-60%. is it really worth it here? because like 30% crit chance or so, seems very worthless to me, maybe i am wrong. thats why i ask.
Maxroll has a planner where you can see this for yourself. Crit and crit damage are somewhat comparable to d3 values.
thank you. i will have a look. I was just confused because 4% crit chance or so, on a ring always seemed pretty pointless to me
