This to me is like saying we don’t need guard rails on stairs and balcony’s or traffic lights at intersections. I can 100% pay attention and navigate these things without dying or crashing, but it’s a great feature overall
Without a doubt, if you purchase the item it should vanish. If you drop the item and log out before you consume it, it should reappear. That’s it
We have those things for disabled people. Not for careless people. You know this right? In most places it’s legally required in order to help those who are disabled. To even be CLOSE to similar in comparison we’d have to assume the person is blind otherwise it’s apples and oranges.
I also can’t use the ones not meant for my class. What kind of crap is this?
Same here. I still have to make a rogue for an item. I only have one class this season. I’m not too into the game. Burned out before S1. Grinding these cosmetics has been awful.
To be honest there’s 100’s of small things like this in game, stupid annoyances like not being able to sell all rare items for example by the click of button, or missing communities chats, stupid evade stuck bug in game since beta, not being able to group with people in your clan roaster (need to go in social instead… like wtf??) and so on and so on…
They should just stop adding anything into game, skip season and actually fix and add QoL stuff if they don’t want another big player exodus. (may still happen if they fail at balance or allow, like Rod said, those cool broken builds to exist when leader boards will launch)
I read in two languages. This design is stupid. Why are they making us waste time by hovering over the item and checking our stash? I can’t use all the cosmetics without wasting more of my time creating classes I don’t have in this season.
The way Blizz has progressed over the last decade or so… I’d rather spend money to guarantee they release a proper, coherent game than on any cosmetic or ridiculous battlepass they try to con me into. They already conned me into buying the top tier version of D4 and denied my refund so the battlepass and cash shop come across as vulgar, greedy, desperate, and absurd to me. This is especially so considering how much they spent programming the game to it’s current point. The net result is broken, janky, or simply “WHY?!” imo. I don’t want to throw more money at that. They should have budgeted for universal acclaim rather than quick profit.
