the 20%x damage effect is noticeable. 
Flurry OP is pretty good or RoA if you like that kind of thing. The downside is that you really need the best possible gear that you can find to make them do anything over a Pit 90. DoK is great for speed running but hits a progression wall much lower.
This guy summed it up. You reach a point where you just dont care about future seasons anymore because the devs are so incompetent at balance & quality control.
