Across 4 world boss fights, maul has not generated spirit for my druid. Once I expend my spirit with shred, no amount of maul’s allows me to shred again or makes my spirit globe change. Only using my ultimate refills my spirit and then it’s back to waiting.

i can confirm this. just did my first s7 world boss (wandering death) and maul did not generate any fortify or spirit.
Another druid chiming in. No spirit generated with maul on world bosses. Pls fix thx.
I have noticed the same issue. Also the packleader boon doesn’t seem to work on world bosses either.

Came here to report this. It’s hard to tell with all the other numbers, but it might not even be HITTING world bosses to generate the spirit? Either way, definitely Maul doesn’t generate spirit vs world bosses.
Also confirming this.
I can see the damage numbers onscreen from my hits but not getting any spirit from it.
As far as I know it only happens on world bosses.
(Edit: after posting I saw this was pc bugs but playing on ps5, still the same problem)
Can confirm on PC. All weekend long my maul was not generating spirit on any of the world bosses. No issues generating spirit on any other content as of yet.
I changed my build as well and now noticed that Mjolnic Ryng also doesn’t function during boss fights. You do not gain unlimited spirit.
Pretty much confirmed, it’s not only not generating spirit, I don’t think Maul is hitting World Bosses at all. No spirit regen, no CD reset chance, likely no damage, but really hard to tell without removing all other skills to test. At any rate, hitbox + cleave issue? Bottom line, Maul is not affecting World Bosses.
Barb here. Can’t generate Fortify vs World Boss. Clearly something widespread is going on.
Still happening. Luckily I had gear that gave ranks to claw.

Happening to me as well on my Barrage Rogue. Energy does not replenish when hitting the boss with Barrage or reflected off of my totem.
This is happening for my druid as well, maul does nothing against world bosses at all, pretty hard to keep shredding 
Pretty sad to see the problem was reported over a month ago…

Sorry to necro this, but it JUST happened to me… I’ve (obviously) never had it happen before… I thought I built something wrong since I just changed a couple things out about 30 minutes prior, but no… everything was working fine till the WBoss.
Season 8 and this still isn’t fixed. Maul doesn’t recharge spirit on any world boss
