I’m in the same boat I give up playing every day because it just crashes or lags.
Makes bosses impossible.

Unable to play this game at all after work. Freezing and then popping up dead. Totally inappropriate, there should be mass apologies and partial to full refunds but total radio silence from blizzard. Waste of money

Same for me. Bad lag during the day, nearly unplayable after normal work hours when everyone gets on.

I tried to play last night and the lag and rubberbanding is ridiculous. It makes the game not even enjoyable. Why force people into a online MMO mode when single player was working just fine and never had performance issues. SMH
Thanks for forcing “always online mode” on us. Maybe no-one told you that by doing so you are not just a game developer but a service provider. Service that we pay and you don’t deliver. And what really pisses me off, there are no official statements or apologies from your CEO. Guess he only replies if someone criticises him on social media.

I understand online games come with occasional connectivity issues. What I dont understand is why Blizzard heavent put an aprox number on the time they need to solve the issue? I am sure everyone would appretiate knowing that they cant log in for the next 2,3 or 12 hours as the longevity of the issue does not matter as much as the conveniece of knowing that there is no point in trying to log in for the next X hours.
I am sure I would have more understanding for their wantonness if they had more understanding for our own time.
If anyone menages to login, please leave a comment to notify the rest of us.

worst thing mate are all those “buy now” banners, everywhere.
This is not free to play game, i pay a lot of money for D4, and all i got is not working servers.
they make a billions from those games, and its disrespectfull for the players.

It’s very disappointing. We spent more then 50 USD/EURO for this game, and we have the right to play it whenever we want. If Blizzard want to make only online playable game, then it must guarantee its access, or at least ensure SLAs that provide for the resolution of access issues in a reasonable time. It’s more then 6 hours we can’t play. Not being able to access for more than 6 hours a service that has been paid for constitutes a default by Blizzard to us as consumers.
Blizzard should consider forms of compensation for this disservice.

It is true that they are making a lot of money and frankly I dont have a problem with that. In fact I wish they quadruple their income in the next year as long as they maintain the quality of the product wich they hardly do unfortunately.

Exactly this. Give us the information about the longevity of the downtime and I will have little to no hard feelings about it as my time wont go down the draing trying to login pointlessly.
Oh come on now, their programmers can’t be that bad. they’ve kept their payment portals up pretty reliably…
Guys relax, it’s a DDos attack which is kinda not blizzards fault…yes you would think a company worth billions could put in security against this. But obviously not. All we can do it wait.
But how are streamers still playing?
According to the message in the battle.net client, it’s a DDoS attack. So if they didn’t have precautions for that, the outage will take as long as the attack goes on. Hard to tell if they can spin up enough servers to just absorb the load or use something like cloudflare to do that as a service for them. But if they didn’t think of that, we can be locked out for some time still and it would be hard to predict the end of the outage.
