[Main Thread] Unable to find license and authentication issues

Same here, tried all those steps before finding this forum.

Same, can’t access account settings in the browser either - 504 error. Also been another 20 mins and still unable to get into the game

Same here. A repair/scan on battle.net did not fix the issue and did not change the error message. Seems like a server issue.

I wanted to play again after a 40 min break (closed the game) and now receiving the same error.
Also I’m getting a gateway 504 error when trying to log into d4 forums through my pc.

I was locked out of my main character after the early access weekend, now I get off work and cannot log in…

seems its battle net authentication server is down. which will make sense why it will think it doesn’t have a license. Friend of mine was in game had him reboot and now he cant get on.

This is a login server issue, not a game issue.

Scan an repair does nothing to fix it.

All you can do is wait.

I did get in eventually, played for a bit and just logged back out.

There is nothing wrong with your install or the launcher. This is the login servers having an issue.

its the battle net login services, you will see if you log out of battle net you wont get back in until you try over and over, when you open diablo its trying to re login again to validate the game.

I don’t think most people are saying its a game issue. We are waiting. But Blizzard acknowledging it and giving an ETA or notice of some sort would be a great start.

Funny enough, the launch does have a notice now, but it says to follow BlizzardCS on twitter for updates - which I was already checking - but it doesnt mention this issue yet.

I mean - if you have a minute, do still consider rebooting your computer from time to time, but yeah - don’t waste the… what felt like forever, waiting for the scan/repair. Tis a fool’s path.
